Great Basic Moisturizer
Estèe Lauder’s “DayWear” is a great, basic moisturizer for continual use. It is formulated with a powerful anti-oxidant complex containing vitamins C and E to fight the damage caused by free radicals. I love the fact that it includes a sunscreen (SPF 15). I really like this moisturizer. I'm not a huge fan of the price for it, but I received my full size free as a gift with purchase and it has been a treat. The jar is a nice size, and the product is very high quality. It is very rich but works well with my combo skin, and absorbs very nicely. Go for the lotion
I tried this cream and it was a little too rich for my combo dry skin. My skin is very sensitive and this seemed to make it a bit itchy. It is heavily perfumed with a fresh cucumber-green tea kind scent which is pleasant, but I suspect may be the culprit to my itching. I also do not like the fact that this product is in a clear jar which exposes the great antioxidants to sunlight and oxygen wh...read moreich render them useless=waste of money when you are only left with a plain old moisturizer. I also do not like jars because the creams get yucky and bacteria ridden from the oils from your fingers. I got this as a sample and would not buy this product, but the lotion may be a great alternative. Something New
I've been trying Estee's Daywear in the dry skin formula, and while I'm not completely sold, it did treat my skin better than it's Clinique counterpart (Superdefense--why you no like me??). I (surprisingly) don't mind the cucumber scent. I definitely don't think it's strong. The product seemed to feel cool on my skin, but melted in as well. The perfect moisturiser for my elbows, not my face.
I have normal/oily skin, and this cream is extremely oily for my face. I use it after my EL repair serum and it makes my skin instantly oily. I try to use it at night but at day I totally can't, if I do, my foundation melts and I shine all day long. I have found it is fantastic on the dry patches of my elbows, they seem moisture, more even toned and younger haha! Holy grail daytime moisturizer
I have used this for about 10 yrs. Never greasy, absorbs instantly,makeup goes on smoothly and face stays hydrated all day. Just a basic product
This product is creamy I agree. It is moisturizing for very dry skin I agree. BUT!! it will be too greasy for summer time and I didn't see any results at all. For what it costs it should be doing wonders for my skin. It is just a basic product. Even too oily for some folks. There fore a 5 star product. Won't buy it again.
