a lot more than I expected
Okay, so I picked this up on a whim while browsing through Ulta with average expectations. Having Indian heritage, it's really hard for me to find a foundation that doesn't make me look pasty or just have that streaky, powdery, and heavy look that foundation gives me while at the same time providing coverage and matching my skin tone. It COULD be way better!
I got the sample version of this as a Stila kit and I liked it at first but recently I have found it to be sticky and thick and it doesnt go on too smoothly either. When i put it on i can deffinatley see that i'm wearing SOMETHING and thats NOT the look i want! Waste of 32 dollars
Unless you want to pay 32 dollars for a moisturizer don't buy this. It has barely any coverage, and serves as a moisturizer. It can be used underneath your makeup, but i'm going to return it and buy a foundation. This does nothing to cover anything, its very watery too. This product does a good job of evening out skin tone without a typical foundation feel. Moisturizing Sheer Color is What You Get
I've had this for a week and find it to be light and moisturizing with pretty sheer color. It looks like I'm not wearing makeup. I have normal to dryer skin with an occasional breakout. I love the color and way it feels on my skin now but it might be too slippery for the summer when I tend to melt. I NEVER were foundation, only a little concealer for blemishes and translucent power, but when I got a free sample of this from Sephora I decided to try it the day I went to get my hair cut in a trendy salon. I love it.
I have tried so many other tint mois but none was any good. Stila is the best. Also a tint moisturizer is suppose to give you a litllte coverage and if you need more there is foundation. I use this to protect my skin and give a good and light coverage. This product never broke my skin and as long as you have a good routine to clean your skin and take off your make-up efore you go to bed this wll not break-up your skin . Laura Mercier trumps Stila
I bought this hoping to get a sheer coverage with moisturization benefits. For the money I was not happy with the coverage. It hardly looked like I put anything on my face and the consistency was rather runny. I think if you're looking for a light/medium coverage tinted moisturizer you need to stick to Laura Mercier.
