Fairly long lasting...
I own a few of these, I got them on clearance from Sephora. The colors are decent, the packaging is nice (it looks pretty, and is color coded to what's inside), and it does last for awhile on your lips. They aren't as drying as some long wear lip colors, which is nice. Full price, they're a little too expensive for what you're getting though. Goes on smooth. Review: Stila Long Wear Lip Color
Very nice! I picked up the shade " Coquette" a pink/ rose shade and I really like it! It smells like a mix of Vanilla and Cookies. I really like the fact that these lipcolors are availble in so many different shades. Seems like everyone reviewing it has a different color! I did notice that this lipcolor does not stay on all day, but for a long period of time. I think $22 is no price to pay for this perfect lipcolor! If you are skeptical, head to Sephora. They always have a tester out, and a mirror. False advertising
I like everything about this slim lipstick except the results. Skinny-lipped especially ladies will love how easy it is to control. The case is sturdy and pretty and houses a slick, creamy lip color that smells like vanilla. Unfortunately, this lipstick is far from "long-lasting." It wears off very quickly and feels dry. Fantastic!
This is a breath of fresh air in long-wear lipcolor. For performances I dress up in 1940's period dress and must must must have a red lipstick that looks great but stays on through singing, talking, big expressions, etc. and this does the trick without looking like plastic wrap on my lips. I have tried it ALL, and this one not only does the job but is comfortable and pretty to boot with no nasty smell. I am going to get it in some everyday shades now. Love this product!
I tried this product in the color exquisite and I would definitely buy it again. It glides on smoothly and does not dry your lips and is not sticky or tacky. My favorite!
Contrary to most long lasting lip colors - this is not dry at all and does not feel like paint. Coquette is a great natural looking color for fair blondes that wears off evenly. Flushed is great for a little more color. Dries too fast
I am not impressed with this "long lasting" lipstick in comparison to others that I have tried. In fact, I wouldn't even say that I like this more than the generic Revlon long-lasting lipstick/glosses. I have a darker brown shade which goes on matte. Most long-lasting lipsticks are like that, but this one doesn't even last that long which is the only reason that matte-ness is acceptable in the first place. I have to re-apply just as much as with every other lipstick because the center of my lips still lose color very fast. The only way the lipstick stays on long is if I don't talk or lick my lips. I don't think this is worth the money and I am not even impressed by the selection of shades. I actually discovered this product when reading the long-wearing lip-color comparative review on this site. I am usually a very deliberative shopper, but I bought this product within minutes of trying it at Sephora. My color of choice is Exquisite -- "a mauve plum sheen" -- but I wouldn't hesitate to try any of them; they all look gorgeous. The consistency and coverage is somewhere between a lipstick and a lip gloss; the color glides on like a dream. Although it doesn't stay on all day, it certainly lasts through the first half of a typical day at work; e.g., one solid meal, much coffee, occasional pensive lip-nibbling and considerable exasperated face-rubbing. It has no scent, no flavor, no stickiness, and it can be layered for a bolder effect. I'm thinking of buying another one to put in my bag, just so I can have one with me at all times.
