Beautiful!
As I've mentioned in a few other reviews, I haven't been the biggest Stila fan, but I greatly respect and admire the changes and improvements that Stila has been making. I love that Stila has made several shades of their new illuminator, so there's a perfect one for all people of different skin tones. These blend very well too. The best thing is that there are several different ways you could wear this. You can mix a little with your foundation for an all-over glowing finish. You can wear this above or below your foundation on your cheekbones or where you want to highlight (as a make up artist, I recommend applying this BEFORE your foundation and then blending for a more natural and ethereal glowing finish). You can use this under powder blush for added shimmer. You can wear this on your brow bones too. I like that this doesn't dry my skin and it's also not overly shimmery. You can build up shimmer if you want more. Lovely Highlighting Product
I have tried this in the light gold color, "kitten" and the "rose gold shimmer" color. Both are really nice, but the kitten color is better suited for my light skin. These are easy to apply and blend to give a nice shimmer highlighting effect. They have a brush applicator but should be blended with either your fingers or a separate makeup brush. On me, the kitten color catches the light really beautifully. I love having a liquid highlighter like this in my makeup bag because it is easy to apply on the go. This is very similar to Benefit's High Beam. I like Stila's at least as much, plus it is nice that they have four different shades for various skin tones. Stila's liquid highlighters are $6 less than Benefit's High Beam and they even come with more product. I also like that the brush applicator is shorter on the Stila highlighter than Benefit's because it gives you more control as to where you place the product. This can also be blended with your foundation for an all-over glow which makes liquid highlighters like this more versatile than powder highlighters. works great makes me break out

Nice Subtle Shimmer
This product gives a nice subtle shimmer when worn alone or mixed with a little foundation. (If you prefer a little more coverage, then I suggest you mix with foundation). I am very fair skinned with golden undertones and I purchased #3 (gold). The colour goes well with my skin and does not look garish. A plus for this product is that it works well with my oily skin. The texture is light and applies easily with the brush. Remember: A little goes a long way! I have a sample size of the "kitten" and I'll probably need to buy a full-sized package soon. It's incredible! I hate wearing a lot of makeup, but this such a pretty thing I love wearing across my cheekbones. I love the Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer!! I use it mixed in with my foundation. Wonderful Shimmer - Great for Highlighting
I have this in the lightest shade (#1 I think) and I use it every day on my cheek bones and right above and below my eye brows to highlight my boniest (or strongest) features. Make sure you blend well otherwise you'll be able to see where the highlighting begins and ends. Great Glow!
I received this as a sample from Sephora in the gold shade and it works great as a highlighter along my cheek bones (pale skin). I also use Benefit Moon Beam and the big difference between the two would be that MoonBeam has some pink undertones to it while Stila is a pure, subtle gold. A Must Have in Your Make Up Bag!
This product is so versitle and awesome I recommend it to everyone. It is great to wear alone, especially as an under eye brightener, or you can mix it with your moisturizer or your foundation or your eye shadow base, etc., etc., etc.... You can also mix it with your body lotion or use it on your decollete or mix it into your favorite bronzer or tanning lotion. There are just so many uses for this product it's amazing! It is light and subtle and a great value for only $22! Totally Loyal to this Product
I am the kind of person that has to try every single kind of make-up there is out there. I love trying anything once and there are very few things that I can say are lasting staples in my beauty regime. It did not even dawn on me till the other day as I was applying this luminizer to my brow bone and cheeks that I have been using this product since college! I actually managed to stay loyal to a product without even realizing it! I mean I use it every day, even if I decide that I'm not going to put any other else cause it really makes a difference and adds a glow to my otherwise dull comlpexion . It lasts sooo long, cause you only need the tiniest bit.
