Luxury, Long-Wearing, Opulent Colors
Stila surprises with these shadows--these are some very lush, dramatic, attention-drawing shades! They can be used wet or dry. Coverage is great and wear is nearly endless. I especially love "Golden Glow" (pure gold, deep bronze, and ivory) in the winter around Christmas--the hues are so festive. On the other hand, they lend a very sultry look in the summer, especially against a faux tan. These shadows are baked on a terra cotta dish for the ultimate in application and blendability. One of the best eyeshadows ever
I bought this trio wondering what could be better than my Smashbox eyeshadows. Well, while I still love my Smashbox cosmetics, I have to admit that I really like the Stila trio! Just all around awesomeness. It glides on nice a smoothly, color doesn't fade or morph, and no creases. And I think they did a really good job of matching up just the perfect shades together. A nice mid-tone base, with a shimmery highlight and a darker accent are perfect for every day use. It's easy to layer a bit for a more dramatic evening look too. Impressive.
This is by far my favorite eye shadow. I got the product in Goddess, which is a selection of champagne, bronze, & copper. I love that it is compact and I can easily toss it in any purse. The colors blend amazingly, and can be worn for both day and night. Just okay
I liked this product but I didn't love it. The regular shadows from Stila are way more pigmented that this, so I was a bit disappointed. Stila eyeshadows are second to none
If I had to pick one beauty product that is the key to my overall "look" -- it would be Stila eye shadows. They are the silkiest, smoothest and most shimmery eye shadows around without being garish. They offer a subtle gleam that is pretty, feminine and soft. I can't tell you how often I get stopped and asked about my eye makeup. The key colors (in my humble opinion) for any makeup bag: Kitten (a champagne shimmer), Diamond Lil (a shimmery pewter-ish gray-brown), Moonlight (for the arch), and any of the "Trio" sets mentioned here. gold glow
This is a staple product for me. I brush it on my cheeks for a bronzed look and use it on my eyes as intended. Gorgeous colors together, too. The only problem I have with it, and it is a really obnoxious one, is the packaging. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but when I received my product (I ordered it from Sephora online), the actual shadow fell out onto my lap! It doesn't seem to be fixed into the bottom well enough, and now when i try to brush off the lighter colors, it spins around. Very obnoxious. This is my staple
I'm still relatively new to the whole makeup scene and this was recommended to me by my friends. I really like how natural and easy this shadow is. Most of the shadows out there make me feel like an imposter in clown makeup.
