I have tried all of John Frieda's anti-frizz serums & this one is my favorite. It is slightly weaker than the extra strength formula in the purple bottle, but since I have minimal frizz and damage this isn't a problem for me. The thermal protector seems to work rather well; it offers a good deal of protection but as with all other hair protectors, it can't ward off all damage so keep that in mind. It is very light-weight & makes it look like your hair is naturally shiny. If you have a lot of frizz or damage, I recommend that you invest in something like Redken's anti-frizz serums because these just aren't strong enough for major frizz. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

I've tried a TON of serums and this one is hands down my favorite! My hair looks so shiney and is so managable after I use this product! It really protects from heat too. I've been spending an endless amount of money to try to repair over washed, super coarse & dry hair for years. I don't have frizz per say, but I did have extreme split ends. So finally, I decided to just invest in this product and it was totally worth every single penny. One pump in my wet hair, I blow dried it, my hair was silky smooth like I just stepped out of a salon. My hair, being wavy, I had to straighten it make it look tamed, I didn't even have to do that. I didn't have to change my shampoo & conditioner or buy a hair mask, nothing. Just this one pump of this magical potion and just to give it a kick, I bought the shine gloss, That is just the cherry on top. I'm impressed and cannot stop talking about it. I used this product ALL last Summer when I spend weeks in the Caribbean where the sun is super hot! It kept my hair protected WITHOUT weighing it down.
