Great coverage

I recently picked this up in their lightest shade available as others always seem to come out too dark or cause my skin to break out. Not so with Aveda. I like the clean feeling it gives when it goes on and the slight herbal scent. The coverage is light to medium so I never feel like I am wearing anything, and so far, it has done a pretty good job of controlling any shine that pops up later in the afternoon. Best of all, it doesn't make me look like I am wearing foundation! It doesn't wear off/transfer to shirt during the day and it comes off easily at night. One of the few products that work with my very fair skin tone and it's from a brand I already love. What could be better. — 2 years, 10 months ago

I am a HUGE fan of Aveda products, but this is one of my favorites. I love to use it in the summer. Nothing like the heat & humidity to melt my makeup off. Then Im left with a runny face ... attractive. Well this was my solution to that. It provides great coverage without looking heavy. Its lightweight, smooth & non-greasy. Great amount of moisturizer. Price is pretty decent too. In the day & age of wanting to get the most for my money ... I cant resist things that are multi-purpose. So, I get a moisturizer & coverage all in one? I will take it. Oh, and like most Aveda products, it has a light, planty/herbal scent. Makes me think of clean & fresh when I smell it. — 2 months, 1 week ago

Just enough tint. Wish it was a bit more hydrating, but then it may be too greasy for summer. During winter you do need a bit more hydration. Lightly fragranced with signature Aveda scent, which I love. — 11 months, 2 weeks ago

LOVE this Tinted Moisturizer

I love this tinted moisturizer. I don't have bad skin, but I don't have great skin either. This moisturizer evened out my skin and since it is moisturizer as well it didn't feel like I was wearing much. The SPF in this is a great addition! — 1 year, 4 months ago

Good- but not great

I have tried a many tinted moisturizer and the is the one best suited for my skin. I have sensitive, fair, oily skin. Most company's fairest tints are still too orange-y for me but, like most Aveda products, this blends well into my skin. I think there are only 3 or 4 shades and the darkest is not that dark so I could see that being a problem for some consumers. The product is rather thick with VERY light coverage but great for evening out your skin tone. It is also dewy and takes some time to set. For my oily skin I top it of with the inner light dual foundation that also offers up more coverage. I really like the spf feature but am not the biggest fan of the thick consistency, you have to really work it into your skin. The packaging is nothing to write home about but there is plenty of product, even for the steeper price. I will repurchase but just because I have yet to find a better product for my sensitive skin. — 1 year, 7 months ago

My favorite tinted moisturizer!

I have been a makeup artist for over 10 years and I have tried so many tinted moisturizers. This one by Aveda is by far my favorite! Although it's sheer, there is enough coverage to even out my skin tone. I have very oily skin and this actually helps control it. It's not heavy or greasy. There is a much more generous amount in the tube than most other tinted moisturizers. I just love it!!! — 2 years ago

I love this tinted moisturizer. Its lasts all day with a radiant and dewy glow. It somewhat hides lines but definatley makes an improvement in your complexion with just a small amount. Great for someone who doesn't like foundation. — 3 years ago
