Feels good, smells kinda off
I have used this product as suggested, on my cuticles, chapped lips, dry skin areas like my knuckles and heels, and even on some dry spots on my face. It is surprisingly hydrating and lasts a long time on your skin. It doesn't really have a pretty scent to it or a sensation when applying it on your skin. This cream is very thick and very smooth it reminds me of Vaseline, just more amped up. My favorite thing to use this for is my chapped lips. When I first read to use it on your lips I thought it would feel odd, but it's actually very pleasant. It doesn't feel sticky or greasy, it keeps my lips from getting dry and cracking, and most of all my lips are smooth all day through eating and drinking. Also, I have been using this since I got it a couple months ago and I still have a good amount left in the sample container. A little of this cream goes a long way! There has to be a better scent!
I liked YuBe, but the scent really left something to be desired. It reminded me of Vick's Vaporub. I used it on my dry elbows and it helped, but I found it to be very thick and sticky. Really works!
I work part time at winery and my fingers get all cut up, I am not sure why but then they get stained too with red wine, looks gross and feels worse. Anyway I received a sample of this, I have to say my fingers cleared up almost within one day. I also used on my jagged cuticles, again almost in one day they too became soft. I used a little on my chapped lips, again they felt soothed, supple and SMOOTH! Great little product. It smells like camphor upon intial application, however, the smell disappears very quickly. Feels so soft....
Got this as a sample. I love how this evaporates so quickly. It has that greasy texture of petroletum which made me kind of hesitant to try at first because I was scared it was going to leave my skin greasy. Surprisingly it didn't! It is by far the most unique skin cream I've ever tried. It absorbed quickly leaving my skin so smooth and soft. I just don't like the scent. It smells exactly like Carmex and I wish they had more scents to this. Works
This is an excellent product, recently i had a lip chapped so bad that it eventually started bleeding and it hurt real bad, i was going to go to the doctor if it did not heal cause even drinking fluids was getting painful. I had a tube of this lying around when i got it as a sample and thank my luck i decided to give this a try. OMG the next day by lip healed, totally gone without a trace could not believe it, i Love Love Love this. Loved it for Everything!
This is one of those products that you have to 'get.' Don't get swayed by the camphor scent- it goes right away. The feeling it leaves behind is perfectly soft without being greasy or noticeable. It's great for just about everything even the dry bumps on the backs of your arms. 50 years in Japan and still a best seller? From Face to Foot
There are so many reasons to check out the website of Yu-Be, the #1 selling moisturizer in Japan. Free samples to anyone in the US. The long long list of other blogs and mags that adore this medicated, vitamin-enriched, Japanese phenom, skin care product. For me however the number one reason seemed to be the realization that Yu-Be is not in fact a foot cream. I suppose I smelled the camphor and assumed the only acceptable place to test this cream was on the part of my body furthest from my nose. Apparently, I can spread the healing powers of Yu Be to every part of my epidermis right up to my cuticles and face. Amazing. I must tell you, I walked 3 miles today in shoes that are nowhere near the neighborhood of walking shoes. I arrived home, still chatting away endlessly on the metallic unsightly appendage otherwise known as my cell phone, and without my knowing it by the end of the conversation I had entirely coated my feet in Yu-Be. They are now fully medicated, fantastic feeling feet.
