Heals and Softens Beautifully
I like this cream a lot for extremely dry skin such as chapped lips, hands, elbows, knees, and my feet (oh, my feet develop a shell in the winter, I swear!). What continues to amaze me is that the chief ingredient is glycerin, a natural humectant which attracts and maintains moisture in the skin. Never underestimate the power of pure glycerin. It is the sole ingredient in my much-loved "O'Keeff...read moree's Working Hands" Cream (about $7.99 on Amazon). It heals cuts and will change my skin to a much better state overnight. Yu-Be takes it a little further and adds Vitamins E, B2, and camphor (thus, the foul smell). Camphor is used to soothe irritations and stimulate blood circulation. I like this cream. I like O'Keefe's more because it works just as well sans the off-putting odor for a lower price (thus, this loses two stars). Feels so soft....
Got this as a sample. I love how this evaporates so quickly. It has that greasy texture of petroletum which made me kind of hesitant to try at first because I was scared it was going to leave my skin greasy. Surprisingly it didn't! It is by far the most unique skin cream I've ever tried. It absorbed quickly leaving my skin so smooth and soft. I just don't like the scent. good moisturizer
This moisturizer is really well suited to dry, scaly feet and hands. When you first apply it there is a sulfur like smell, but that quickly disappears and you are left with a thick protective coating that softens and heals. I wouldn't recommend using it during the day, but at night it is super for slathering on and going to bed with cotton socks and gloves. Feels good, smells kinda off
I have used this product as suggested, on my cuticles, chapped lips, dry skin areas like my knuckles and heels, and even on some dry spots on my face. It is surprisingly hydrating and lasts a long time on your skin. It doesn't really have a pretty scent to it or a sensation when applying it on your skin. When I first read to use it on your lips I thought it would feel odd, but it's actually very pleasant. It doesn't feel sticky or greasy, it keeps my lips from getting dry and cracking, and most of all my lips are smooth all day through eating and drinking. Also, I have been using this since I got it a couple months ago and I still have a good amount left in the sample container. A little of this cream goes a long way! Really works!
I work part time at winery and my fingers get all cut up, I am not sure why but then they get stained too with red wine, looks gross and feels worse. There has to be a better scent!
I liked YuBe, but the scent really left something to be desired. It reminded me of Vick's Vaporub. I used it on my dry elbows and it helped, but I found it to be very thick and sticky. Don't overlook this Japanese import
This stuff is awesome. Some people mind the camphor (medicinal) scent, which it claims to fade quickly but I'm not bothered by it. I think the magic ingredient in this is the glycerin which is also often over looked as a powerhouse ingredient. My face is combination/ oily but the rest of my body is dry even with a humidifier.
