I dont like the smell!

I have been using this product for 2 weeks now, and I am not seeing very much change in the color of my legs. I don't like the smell either, I think it smells like all ofher self tanners. i love many Nivea products, but I am disappointed by this one.

if this is foolproof, I must be a fool...

I specifically bought this in the light to medium color because I didn't want to go through all the prep work I do with my normal self tanner (Fake Bake). Not only did I wake up with streaks and dark splotches around my ankles, I hated the scent of this. When I smelled it in the bottle, I though it had little or no scent. That was not the case. I was a strong fruity scent that I didn't like at all...read more, not just the normal self tanner scent. I am very fair, but I thought the color on this was a bit on the orangy side. I wouldn't recommend it.

Wonderful Tanning Lotion

The product smells extremely nice for a tanning lotion, and it certainly does firm a little. I suggest applying this several times a day, every time it seems to sink in completely. I applied it about three times a day, once in the morning, once during the day and once before bedtime. I woke up with a gorgeous St. Barts glow that was perfectly even and natural-looking. Just make sure to wash your h...read moreands after applying! If it gets onto your palms or into your nail bed it will look very unnatural there. But as long as you follow the directions, it works amazingly, especially for the amount I bought it for ($4.99 on sale). Also, it doesn't come off very easily once it has sunk in, as I used a Clinique cleanser+toner+moisturizer in the mornings and evenings and nothing came off with it so it does have tons of staying power.

Golden Goddess

I don't know about "firming" but this lotion definitely helps get a Sun-Kissed glow. I absolutely adore it!! It is rather runny but goes on so easily. Unlike other gradual tanning lotions this one actually works, without you looking streaky or orange. Its my summer must have!!

guess you can try it once to see for yourself

I bought it on sale to see what the hype was about the scent. It smells good at first, then ends up smelling just like all the other sunless tanners (nasty). Color developed after a few days as advertised, but a little too orange for my skin tone. I am Asian with light skin, and even with the product designated for light skin types, it was not what I had in mind.

love it!

I love this moisturizer! It makes my skin really soft and gives me a super subtle tan without all the streakiness or orange... JUST MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER! The smell is much more pleasant than other sunless tanners. I don't know if i've really noticed much of a difference from the "firming" aspect, but the tan is nice.

Great color smells as expected

The color is great i do some light tanning and use this daily and am amazed at how great it looks. Now the smell is to be expected it has chemicals in it and its a tanner to some extent, the fragrance they mix in def doesnt cover the i just put bronzer on smell but DEF WORTH IT! :)

Actually doesn't smell terrible!

I have sensitive skin, and other gradual tanning moisturizers have made me itch or given me a rash. Others, due to the strong perfumes used to mask the self-tanner smell, have given me terrible headaches. This does neither, and also provides a very gradual and natural-looking tan. I'm very fair, so I like how light and gradual the tan is, but folks with darker skin tones or who are seeking something noticeable after the very first application will probably be disappointed.

Not great

I tried this after receiving it as free gift from Ulta, I was glad I didn't waste my money on it. First, i thought it smelled bad, nothing like apricots. It worked okay as a moisturizer, but as a sunless tanner I thought it was worthless. I used it for about 10 days and barely noticed a change in my skin color; i am very pale and would have noticed.
