Good Lotion

I prefer the Smooth Sensation lotion for its creaminess and scent but this is a good moisturizer for the body overall. I got a sample of this and put it to use on my arms, legs, heels, and hands. I found that it wasn't as effective as the Smooth Sensation or Nivea Soft for making rough spots smooth and soft. I won't purchase again but it is still a cheap drugstore moisturizer. You just have so many to choose from, you might as well find something you really like. — 2 years, 9 months ago

Despite all the other "10" reviews, I'm going to say that this is my least favorite Nivea lotion. I've tried the entire line of body lotions and this one is the heaviest, so I'd limit it only to the really rough and dry spots like elbows and knees and hands. For a body lotion it is really a little too heavy and takes some heavy duty rubbing to get it in and fifteen minutes to dry if it's humid. You can't get dressed right away or it'll leave residue on your clothes. It does moisturize your skin really well, it's just a little too heavy and greasy for me. — 4 years, 4 months ago

My suns have had eczema since they were tots. Now they are teens. They have been using this lotion ALL of their lives. Believe me I have tried tons of different brands, I even tried new and improved brands, but we always come back to this one. However, this one is best for winter and fall, when the cold weather in NJ flares up their eczema. So I was ecstatic when Nivea intro'd Smooth Sensations, same brand, same effect, lighter formula. This lotion is the absolute best! It moisturizes like crazy and gives me a slight shine. Not like a greasy type of shine but a nice, sexy, healthy skin type of shine. The only downfall is that it does take a little bit of time to 'set' for lack of a better word. Once you put it on you have to give it some time before you can put on a tight pair of jeans without struggling. To get around that I just put it on at night and enjoy the way it makes my skin feel and look and in the morning I am super smooth and moisturized. HIGHLY recommended! — 2 years, 5 months ago
