  The best basic body moisturizer

  Although this product has been reformulated over the years and the scent is not quite as good as it should be, it remains the BEST body lotion ever. Although I tend to not use mass market products for the skin, Nivea Essentially Enriched works better than Kiehls, Clarins or any other high end line. I have used all the varia...tions of this lotion for over 20 years and by my own admission, my skin is fabulous. Some people think it is too rich. That is the point. It has to be rich to work. Always put in on damp skin. Literally massage it over your whole body for several minutes. Pat excess with a towel. You and your bathroom will smell divine all day. November 12, 2007, 1:56 pm

  Despite all the other "10" reviews, I'm going to say that this is my least favorite Nivea lotion. I've tried the entire line of body lotions and this one is the heaviest, so I'd limit it only to the really rough and dry spots like elbows and knees and hands. For a body lotion it is really a little too heavy and ta...kes some heavy duty rubbing to get it in and fifteen minutes to dry if it's humid. You can't get dressed right away or it'll leave residue on your clothes. It does moisturize your skin really well, it's just a little too heavy and greasy for me. January 20, 2008, 2:44 pm

  Europe's best kept secret!

  This brand is much more used in Europe than in US,and it more like US's neutrogena. This lotion is all your skin need to feel and look fabulous. You have to literaly masage it in damp skin, but once you are done it looks so fresh and glowy for entire 24 hours!!! It has very nutrual but refreshing smell, it will not interfer...e with your parfume! Love it! March 7, 2008, 11:15 pm

  What a LOTION!!

  I was at a friends house in the summer and there was a gentle breeze. I said to her "what soap do you use it smells so clean and refreshing" She came out with her Nivea. Not only does it smell wonderful, it makes my whole body feel so soft and refreshed. I ALWAYS get compliments on the way I smell.   Perfect Prescription for Dry Winter Skin

  My sister and I both suffer from horribly dry skin in the cold winter months. (My hands, elbows and knees would crack and bleed!)   Awesome

  I used to use avon lotion because it was the best for very dry skin. My boyfriend uses this and then I started. I love it and it is now a necesity in my house. It is great for excema also because that was a problem with my daughter. A must have@ May 7, 2008, 5:38 am

  Wonderful

  I find this lotion works best right after you get out of the shower while your skin is still alittle moist. I love to use it for the top part of my arms where you get all the little bumps, I find it keeps them gone and my skin stays smooth. February 12, 2008, 9:18 pm

  I prefer the Smooth Sensation lotion for its creaminess and scent but this is a good moisturizer for the body overall. I got a sample of this and put it to use on my arms, legs, heels, and hands. I found that it wasn't as effective as the Smooth Sensation or Nivea Soft for making rough spots smooth and soft. I won't purchas...e again but it is still a cheap drugstore moisturizer.   My favorite lotion wouldn't use any other

  I love this lotion. I've tried many other kinds and keep coming back to this one. it has a nice light scent, good rich consistency, glides on smooth, and doesn't leave you feeling greasy. It s a dark blue bottle that comes in pump or squeeze type. It ranges form 6-8 dollars at stores. August 9, 2009, 3:32 pm

  I am obsessed with this lotion! I use it all over my body every night before bed and I can't emphasize enough how smooth and soft my skin is in the morning. Not only that, but my skin remains soft all day long. I'm talking baby bottom-soft. It is a tad heavy in hot summer months, but essential in the fall and winter. Y...ou will not be disappointed!
