Sunless Safe and Simple

by Remines (4 reviews)
I am very fair skinned and find it difficult to find a natural looking tanner. This is virtually odorless and easy to use, it also is bioglycolic and good for the skin. It does take several applications to start looking "sunny" but I'd rather gradually tan then go from pale to "fake bake".04/09/2008

  • Manufacturer's Product Description

  • Jan Marini Skin Research Sunless Self-Tanner enables patients to enjoy an attractive glowing tan without harmful sun exposure. Sunless Self-Tanner is not a dye or a coating, but the most recent technology using an amino acid that interacts with the skin's proteins, activating a beautifully natural-appearing, long lasting color change. Each patient will experience an individual tanning shade that is in keeping with their own natural coloration and skin tones, but they will also benefit from a richer and more even hue that can be achieved through sunbathing. In addition, Jan Marini Skin Research has taken sunless tanning technology even further by developing a preparation that incorporates a small percentage of glycolic acid. Glycolic acid ensures better penetration, decreases the time necessary for color to appear, and lengthens the wearability before another application is needed. Although Sunless Self-Tanner can be applied to the face or the body, it is specifically formulated for facial use. All ingredients are non-comedogenic in a silky-feeling, fast drying base. Sunless Self-Tanner is an excellent alternative for patients who have been wisely advised to limit their sun exposure, but still wish to cultivate a "bronzed" appearance. 4 oz. tube.
  • Directions

  • Can be applied to face or body. Best results achieved if body skin has been exfoliated before application of Sunless Self-Tanner. Apply one coat evenly to desired areas. Rub in thoroughly. Wash hands immediately to avoid color changes on the palms. Apply sparingly around calloused area, knees and elbows, as more product may be absorbed. A second application may be necessary for darker color. Make sure skin is dry before dressing.
