COMEDOGENIC!!!
luxylexi (234 reviews)I should've researched better before i bought this compact. It get's such glowing reviews and is known as "the skin care makeup" so how could it be bad for my skin? Within the first few days i started getting irritated red bumps, which i thought was due to a new soap i was trying to i stopped using the soap (couldn't be the $50 powder on my face right?) In the next week i started getting the huge, painful, cystic acne under my skin (which i have NEVER had before) I did some exploring of the ingredients and found the algae extract is severely pore clogging! How disappointing! I took it back and my skin cleared up within a few days. I wanted to love this so much, i liked the coverage and the dewy look, but it didn't look good unless you sprayed a setting liquid over it ( i hate extra steps). — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

Is a Fairly Decent Mineral Makeup Base
Reservechic (266 reviews)I have three compacts of this stuff in Warm Sienna, as I find that it is a fairly univeral shade for medium complexions. It gives light-to-medium coverage based on how much or little you apply. The best brush to use when it applying it is with the Handi Brush. It doesn't break me out which is a huge plus, but it goes on a bit too matte at first, but then it mixes with your natural oils over time. One of my main gripes about this product is its high pricetag. As, even though it is a fairly decent foundation, it truly doesn't warrant such a high price, in my opinion. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

love it~
AmyB58 (203 reviews)where else can you get three face products in one? This is it! Acts as a foundation, yet protects you from the sun and I found that I don't really need a blush to use when I wear it. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Amazing!
DancenDiva (19 reviews)I've been using this foundation for about a month and love it! I was using Bare Minerals before, but my skin looks so much better after using this! It goes on easy for a smooth and flawless look. I'd say the coverage is medium to full. I recommend it to all of my beauty blog readers! — 3 weeks, 5 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love this Foundation
Sari (19 reviews)I am a huge fan of this foundation. It gives me medium coverage, lasts longer than other powders and the spf coverage is decent. The powder compact makes it easy to re-apply when I am out in the sun. I also love how Warm Sienna matches my skin tone perfectly. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Best ever
Tigger53 (2 reviews)I started using Jane Iredale PurePressed Base 5 years ago. Every so often I try another less expensive brand but I always come back to this. It feels great, goes on easily, covers anything, but still looks natural. I won't be without it. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

The Best Pressed Foundation on the Market
littlemary1234 (2 reviews)I was turned onto Jane Iredale by my sister. This is seriously the best pressed foundation out there. Yes, it is expensive, but once you put it on your skin, you will never want to buy anything else. It's super light-weight, no matter how much you pack on. You won't even feel it on your skin! There is a large range of shades to choose from and even if it's not exactly the right color, it's very forgiving. I use Warm Silk (warm) or Light Beige (cool), depending on sun exposure, but could use either regardless. I have combination/super slick oily skin, and it never looks cakey when I reapply later in the day. For maximum coverage, this can be applied with a dampened sponge, or swirled on with the Handi brush for controlled coverage. Here's a tip: Become friends with a Make up artist or Cosmetologist that is affliated to sell Jane Iredale. They get 70% off =). — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful
