Tawny Blush--why Bismuth Oxychloride, why Jane?
So my poor sister just realized that for years, the good for you makeup 'Bare Escentuals' has a cheap filler called Bismuth Oxychloride that 70% of women are allergic to. It causes itching, redness and acne (for her just acne). How did she figure this out? She ran out of foundation, and I let her use my Jane Iredale pressed powder, but she was still using the BE blush, and guess what--a line of horrible blemishes across her cheeks. Anyway, I raved about JI and how clean it is, and she loves the powder, wanted some blush. We wait to buy on ebay cuz it's cheaper, and look up the ingredients just to be sure--and guess what, some, not all of JI's blushes ALSO have the chemical. Why Jaaaane??Why? It's not necessary! Minerals on their own are great for you! Needless to say, we're looking at other options. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

My Favorite Blush
I use Whisper and it's beautiful! I love how it comes out on my skin. It's light but it also stays on pretty good. I have oily skin so I have to dab the oil throughout the day, but it seems to stay on through all that. I mean I do have to re-apply a little bit if I'm heading out at night, but that doesn't bother me. I prefer to have light makeup than the heavy ones that suffocate my skin. — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
