A Truly Amazing Base

I am very skeptical when it comes to mineral makeup as a foundation, especially loose powder. I need coverage to even out my skin tone. I am in love with the Jane Iredale Amazing Base! It has an SPF 0f 20, is water resitant and lasts all day on my t-zone oily skin. I love the light-weight feel of this product and the fact that it does not have a high shimmer finnish. It gives a natural radiance to my skin and doesn't break me out, itch or irritate my skin. I was so bowled over by this product!I wear AMBER and it is a perfect match. It's name says it all...it really is an "amazing base".11/12/2007

    One product I can't live without

    I use warm silk and I am on the fair side and it is the perfect color. You can put this on once and you don't have to worry about it wearing off during the day. Amazing product I have been using it now for over 5 years. March 8, 2008, 12:34 pm

    I like this product and I have never had any trouble with it, but when I switched to Jane Iredale from Mineral ID, I was expecting to see a big difference in the products but I haven't. I have continued to use the Jane Iredale but have been questioning lately why I am spending more if I cannot see a difference... December 12, 2007, 8:16 am

    Best Base!!!

    I have been using Jane Iredale for years. My plastic surgeon and esthetician recommend only this makeup. It lasts all day without reapplication and you only need a little bit. I have tried other products and always come back to this!!! Although a bit pricy, it\'s worth it because it will last about 6 months. December 7, 2007, 9:01 am

    Wonderful Mineral Base

    I've tried other mineral base foundations and this one is my favorite. It's very natural, and long lasting. It's also good for your skin and has a SPF of 20. My esthetician recommends Jane Iredale to all his clients. December 5, 2007, 11:59 am

    The best product I own

    I love it! It makes your skin look smooth and beautiful. I no longer wear liquid base because it doesn't give me the same smooth finish. All imperfections are covered and make me look younger. This is a stample product in my make-up case. A must have! December 5, 2007, 5:06 am

    Truly Amazing

    This products is truly amazing, my 50 year old skin has never looked more natural than when I am wearing this product, your skin simply glows!     So many shades to choose from!

    I wanted to love Bare Minerals more than I actually did. It was just too heavy on the skin and I didn't really fit into their limited color selections. Jane has a huge color selection for every skin type (darker skin wil have more luck here too). I'm a Warm Silk and I find that to be a popular shade for my brides lookin...     Nice powder

      • An incredible loose mineral foundation with broad spectrum sun protection. Amazing Base SPF 20 is formulated with 100% natural minerals and extracts to provide exceptional coverage of impurities, dark circles and discoloration. It acts as a concealer, foundation, powder and sunscreen, helping to save you time while applying makeup. Ideal for skin conditions such as eczema, acne and rosacea, this formula is free of skin-irritating oil, talc, dyes and parabens. It controls oil and shields the skin from UVA and UVB rays with SPF 20 broad spectrum sun protection. The powder is so fine, it feels creamy on the skin, and will not leave the complexion looking cröI-like or dull.

      • Directions

      • Apply with the Chisel Powder Brush on clean skin after moisturizer has been absorbed. Lightly dip brush into powder and use the lid to work it into the brush. The more evenly distributed the minerals are in the brush, the more evenly they will apply to the skin. Begin application where you need the most coverage. Reapply after lengthy sun exposure, excessive perspiration or anytime after towel drying.
