That Matte look!

by susangayle (6 reviews)
This product will definitely get you a matte finish. Use under foundation and voila! No shine. A tiny bit does the job. Use in just those high shine areas or all over.12/06/2007

      Gets clumpy

The issue is that when you apply it, it's sticky. When you apply powder mineral foundation over the sticky primer, it clumps and makes the foundation look a little "off." It's better if you wait for it to dry. December 7, 2007, 4:03 pm

July 8, 2008, 9:53 am This primer really is amazing after a little tweeking. I sold this in a laser center where I worked. It took two applications to figure out how not to apply it. I have extremely oily skin but a pea size amount is enough for the entire face. After applying my moisturizer, I apply a thin layer of the primer and then my pressed powder. It gives me a matte finish but also hels to evenout skin tone(absence 2). You can even apply it directly on top of the powder later in the day, no blotting required. Worked wonderfully on my lids as well. July 8, 2008, 9:53 am

I found other uses for it

I did not find that it worked as an oil absorber; of course, I have very oily skin. I did find it helpful as a concealer and on the eyelids as a primer. December 7, 2007, 8:29 pm
