high glycolic acid concentration=mild stinging + strong results
I have been using this lotion for about a month and I am very pleased so far. While my skin is not sensitive, this lotion stings upon application. As expected, the stinging is due to the 10% glycolic acid concentration of the product, but luckily, it goes away for me after awhile. The key is to use the smallest amount possible to cover the skin. I have concluded that the temporary pain is worth the results: noticeably clearer and brighter skin. I am especially amazed by how soft and smooth my skin is. I also use the Gentle cleanser 2%, followed by this lotion, then the Hydrotone cream for my skincare regimen. Overall, the price is very reasonable for the effectiveness of the product. Since you only need to use a little bit of product, the 4oz bottle goes a long way.
