Not really sure how this works, but...
...I think it's a lovely product! I don't actually own it, but my facialist uses this to massage my face after she cleans it and it feels divine. It makes your skin buttery soft and supple. Wierd, luxe, French, and awesome.
So it sounds completely counter-intuitive to use oil to fight oil, but once I let the staffers at Lucky magazine talk me into it (they are ALWAYS right, btw), I was in awe. This is the tiniest, chicest, most luxurious little bottle, the concentrate is light and velvety smooth and gorgeously fragranced, and it only takes one or two drops to leave my complexion even and dewy and completely moisturized, yet somehow, inexplicably, clear as a bell. I use a bit of this in the morning under a tinted moisturizer, and a little more at night to enhance my night cream. Its never greasy, and the bottle lasts forever. great for combo skin
when my esthetician suggested this in combination with the Cleansing Gel...I was skeptical. It didn't make sense to me to place oil on a face that had combination skin - but it's absolutely a MUST HAVE! First, you'll love the luxurious scent and feel on your skin. Second, and more importantly, you'll love the results. Great for those with combination & acne-prone skin
My skin is sensitive and can easily break out if I am not diligent about cleaning it. I get super oily in the "warmer months" and drier in the cooler months. I started using this last spring after a Sephora staff member suggested it and I have not looked back since. My skin looks great. I use this alone during the day when its warm (plus sunscreen) and in the winter I sometimes use a moisturizer over it. It seems counter-intuitive to put oil on top of oily skin, but it works. Just a few drops smoothed on the face and I have glowing matte skin all day long! I even use the ylang ylang night balm.
