Carmex cherry
My lips are severely chapped from being on Accutane. My brother always raves about his Carmex so I thought I'd try the Carmex in the cherry tube for easy application... Here's the deal: --PROS: At first, feels moisturizing. Cherry candy smell is so-so. I like the tube applicator. Nice shine initially. The best part is the low price! --CONS: Does not moisturize for as long as it should. Taste is gross. Texture is a little slippery. I feel that rose balm works better and is more pleasant overall (it's basically a tin of $5 rose scented vaseline and it works great!). In my opinion, Carmex Cherry tube is a mediocre product at a very low price. Carmex Tube
Having been a snow skier for many years, I have tried it all for chapped lips. Lip balms are too waxy, lip glosses have no hydration, and offer no protection. Carmex in a tube is a great lip treatment for dry, chapped lips. I was very happy to see the tubes because the jars held onto bacteria. Carmex is thick going on and has a medicinal taste and smell, but it coats them with moisture (for a minimal time), helps heal the chapping, and has some degree of protection against the elements. I do, however, prefer the Blistex Medicated tube. It absorbs nicely and I feel it working for quite a while. Awesome!
This stuff is amazing when my lips are really dry. I feel like when it comes to carmex you either love the product or hate it. I personally love it. I love the texture, the way it feels on my lips, how it tingles, and the cherry scent. Great stuff!
This is just the classic Carmex but in a tube instead of a pot. I love how much easier it is to apply and fit into a pocket than the original jar. Soft Lips
I really like this carmex for my lips because it adds so much moisture and really relieves my chapped lips. The tube is easy to use and take with you.
