great wash face
very nice face wash. Lathers very well, doesn't strip the skin or dry it out. Does a good job removing heavy foundation. Used with the Olay brush is quite a pleasure. Nice price too! My skin is combo/oily in the spring summer and combo/dry in the fall/winter. My skin is left looking amazingly clean and clear and NO drying or tightness, which is so important for me. I had tiny underground pimples on both cheeks that even the Glytone could not clear up and I noticed this morning that they are barely noticeable! Basis is a Basic
I am a drugstore product junkie-I admit it-but there are certain "basics" I keep on hand because I keep going back to them due to how well they work-Basis is one of them. I also admit to being partly enthralled by the smell-which should not be that big a deal but the freshness adds to the pleasure that the deep but not stripped clean feeling I get comes with. Reminds me of my younger days....
I used this many years ago and always l loved it. As I am getting older I do think it is more drying that I need. Overall a great cleanser and gets the grease off from a long day. Very gentle

Not perfect
There are many things I love about this cleanser, but it seriously dries out my oily skin. After using it once a day for a few days, my face develops areas that are so dry that my skin peels. I've tried to re-indroduce this cleanser to my routine several times, with the same result. Slightly Above Average
Not your average $4 face wash. For the price it goes above and beyond, but in general it doesn't impress. Kinda dries out the skin leaving it tight and shiny and is very watery. Not exactly sure how it can qualify as "soap-free" Used the whole bottle.
