My skin is oily in the summer and dry in the winter however it always feels clean and fresh after washing with it - no mater what time of the year. Plus it removes my makeup and doesn't dry up my eye area like most products tend to do. When I crave a nice deep cleanse, I use Basis in conjunction with a Buf Puf and my face is left "OMG" clean! I have finally found the perfect cleanser. I have tried all different kinds of cleanser and this one seems to be the winner. I have been using this cleanser for about 2 months and my skin is the clearest it has ever been. I have had people in line at the supermarket ask me what I use to get my skin to glow. I owe it all to this cleanser. It's the only thing that has changed in my routine. It's is a light, clear gel-like cleanser that foams up nicely. You just need a small amount to wash your whole face with. I have been using it religiously every night and i am not even half way done. My skin feels soft and refreshed after I wash my face and its never tight or dry. This cleanser is just amazing. I really think it has transformed my skin. I will say that I have pretty average skin to begin with. I don't have a problem with acne or sensitivity. The only I issues I have sometimes is that my t-zone can become oily. I don't know if this will give the same results to all skin types but it really made a difference in mine. The best part.... I got this at Wal-Mart for 3 bucks and some change! Yup! Amazing. If you are in the market for a new cleaser you gotta try Basis. I bought this product because it seemed like a reasonable price for a cleanser that would remove make-up (I really don't understand why a person would need a make-up remover separate from their cleanser!). It definitely lived up to the deep cleaning. My face is clear of any traces of make-up after cleansing and I feel refreshed. The scent is lovely and it makes up a good foam, even though it's soap-free! The only downside is that it's too good at its job! My dry, sensitive skin probably needs just a bit less cleansing. I am a drugstore product junkie-I admit it-but there are certain "basics" I keep on hand because I keep going back to them due to how well they work-Basis is one of them. I also admit to being partly enthralled by the smell-which should not be that big a deal but the freshness adds to the pleasure that the deep but not stripped clean feeling I get comes with. I am 18 years old and I have had moderate acne to almost severe since middle school! I have tried literally everything, from drugstore cleansers to prescriptions, benzoyl peroxide, everything!! I've been using this cleanser and have seen major improvement in my skin. My skin is glowing and radiant, and not oily! My pimples have went down significantly. I have tried many mid-level cleansers (Clinique, Cetaphil) and even high-end ones (Glytone) - this takes the cake and at a STEAL of a price! My skin is combo/oily in the spring summer and combo/dry in the fall/winter. My skin is left looking amazingly clean and clear and NO drying or tightness, which is so important for me. I still cannot believe that this face wash is under $6. I had tiny underground pimples on both cheeks that even the Glytone could not clear up and I noticed this morning that they are barely noticeable! This cleanser is also keeping my blackheads in check and out the door. The reviews on this product are phenomenal; google it and see. Fabulous! I actually purchased this after reading rave reviews about it here. I have naturally oily, acne prone, blemished skin, but I also live in a dry climate, so I battle the worst of all worlds. I think this is the cleanest my skin has ever felt, without being super tight afterward. It is soap-free and oil-free, so it's perfect for sensitive skin (which I also have, of course), and it has a very pleasant scent. I will say that it seems to dry out my skin more than my previous face wash, but it's nothing a little moisturizer can't fix. I like the texture of this and how it suds up. Great for sensetive skin, super cheap, and leaves your skin feeling makeup and dirt free sans that tight/drying feeling. However, if you breakout, you will need something else.
