Cannot Compare to Amlactin Moisturizing Lotion (12% Lactic Acid)

I absolutely adore Amlactin Moisturizing Lotion (12% Lactic Acid) and had such high hopes for this product, which is much pricier. In terms of softening, hydrating and evening out my skin tone, there was no comparison. Amlactin XL Moisturizing Lotion is ineffective on my skin. This was a big waste of money. — 3 years, 11 months ago

    Thick, but works great!

This is one of the best moisturizers out there and it will help patients with Keratosis Pilaris (or those red or white bumps on the outside of your arms) — 4 years, 9 months ago

    help for problem skin

This lotion really helped my skin in only a month. It was much more even and smooth. I used it mostly on my arms. — 5 years, 1 month ago

    heavy duty dry skin tx

I get horrible dry skin on my legs, feet and hands during the winter, I picked up a tube of the Amlactin XL and was totally amazed at how well it works. I found that applying it to troubled areas after a hot bath was best, I applied the lotion liberally to my feet each night and covered them with thick clean white sockes, within just a few days my feet, heels and hands were feeling soft and smooth. This lotion is quite heavy so a little goes a long way. — 5 years, 1 month ago

    Moisture for Dry Skin

I continue to use this product for dry skin. It works great on dry heels. Kind of pricey but worth it. — 4 years, 11 months ago

    effective exfoliant

I like the effectiveness of the lotion for exfoliating. It is strong, so be carefull to apply sparingly to non-sensitive areas, especiall for your first use. It is expensive, but a little goes a long way. — 5 years, 4 months ago

    Love it

I am a diabetic and constantly have to deal with severly dry skin. I used this product for years when it was prescription only and was thrilled when it was sold over the counter. It truly moisturizes my skin better then anything else. I used to have to put gloves on my hands and socks on my feet when I went to bed, first putting on cream, then covering them. I don't have to do this with Amlactin. It's truly amazing! — 5 years, 5 months ago

    AMLACTIN XL MOISTURIZING LOTION

THIS LOTION IS VERY EXPENSIVE,I HAVE PSORIASIS AND IT WORKS ON THE AREAS THAT AREN'T RAW. YOU DON'T WANT TO PLACE ON AREAS THAT ARE TOO SENSITIVE OR HALFWAY RAW, BECAUSE IT'LL BURN EXTREMELY BAD. IT MAKES YOUR SKIN SMOOTHER WITHIN 3-6 WEEKS OF USING IT.I'D RECOMMEND ASKING YOUR DERMATOLOGIST OR DR. APPROVAL BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT, IT'S HARSH. — 5 years, 5 months ago
