  I get horrible dry skin on my legs,feet and hands during the winter, I picked up a tube of the Amlactin XL and was totally amazed at how well it works. I found that applying it to troubled areas after a hot bath was best, I applied the lotion liberally to my feet each night and covered them with thick clean white sockes,wit...   I am a diabetic and constantly have to deal with severly dry skin. I used this product for years when it was prescription only and was thrilled when it was sold over the counter. It truly moisturizes my skin better then anything else. I used to have to put gloves on my hands and socks on my feet when I went to bed, firs...   effective exfoliant

  I like the effectiveness of the lotion for exfoliating. It is strong, so be carefull to apply sparingly to non-sensitive areas, especiall for your first use. It is expensive, but a little goes a long way. December 27, 2007, 10:07 am
