    Not for acne prone skin!

I've been trying to love this lotion for about 15 years now- every time I get a "deluxe sample" as part of my clinique purchase I slather some on my skin and invariably wake up with a huge zit or two. For some reason this products absolutely clogs my pores. I'm glad to hear it works for others but if you are acne prone you may not want to try this. — 1 year, 2 months ago

    I don't get it?!

How can this bottle of yellow mineral oil (check the label, ladies!) be the #1 moisturizer in the world? The one time I was convinced to use it (before I read the label), my skin broke out in so many little white heads I thought I was 14 again! No thank you. — 1 year, 2 months ago

    I hate this

For one look at the ingredients. The first ingredient is MINERAL OIL!!!! I didn't see anything that made this special!!! It just set on top of my skin and left a film like my skin couldn't breath. There are better drugstore moisturizers with better ingredients! — 1 year, 3 months ago

    Okay

This product was just okay for me. While it feels good going on, lasts decently long, and moisturizes, it also left my sensitive skin red and blotchy. It definitely irritated and made my face break out more than my normal concealer would. Not for those with sensitive skin. — 1 year, 3 months ago

    Love 3 step

I have been using the 3 step for combination skin for nearly a year now. I really like the lotion and have been able to use it in between seasons without having to switch to something thicker, like a cream, this winter. My skin has done very well with this product (it is sensitive and prone to breakouts). I will continue to use this moisturizer. — 1 year, 5 months ago

    Good for dry mature skins.

I bought this lotion with the 3-step skin care system for combinaton skin, but has only made my skin ever more oily. I'd say i'd work on very dry to dry skins and on more mature skins, but if your skin has even a small tendency to grease, stay away from it, because its too heavy and, at least on me, has made my skin really oliy during the day causing break outs. Although when i use it at night it works well and in the morning my skin is just perfectly smooth and soft. I think the gel would work better on combination or oily skin, or another moisturizer, — 1 year, 6 months ago

    Really happy

I have terrible acne prone skin so my entire life I went for titles like 'oil free' and 'clarifying'- Clean & Clean, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Proactive, these products were never really moisturizing enough and I'd need to put on 10 coats of lotion, ultimately defeating the purpose. I tried the smallest sample of this and my entire face looked moisturized and healthy (NOT greasy). Though this isn't oil free, I think the fact that I barely have to put any on and I'm set for the day ultimately leaves me with healthier skin. I surprisingly haven't broken out from this at all, and it hydrated better than anything I've ever tried. — 1 year, 8 months ago

    Amazing!!

if you have dry skin this really works. I used it for about 3 years before i realized they had the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. The gel works soooooooooooooo much better for my face since i have dry/oily combination skin. I would reccomend this to anyone who needs a new mosturizer.! — 1 year, 8 months ago

    Clinic Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

I have to agree, this is bar none, the best most consistent moisturizing lotion on the market. I have tried lots of others but I always come back to Clinic and my skin always thanks me for it :). — 1 year, 10 months ago
