Great for dry skin!
I always shake my head when I see reviewers complain about a product that isn't meant for them. This lotion is for very dry to dry combo skin. It shouldn't be used on oily skin. Okay, now that I've said that, I have dry skin and love this lotion. Sometimes in the winter I supplement this lotion with a heavier cream for my neck and cheeks and in the summer I usually use a lighter lotion, but for most of the year this is exactly what my dry skin needs. It penetrates quickly so if you are having trouble with it being to oily or not penetrating, you should probably get a product for normal or oily skin instead. A little bit heavy for oilier skin types.
I like this moisturizer, but not quite as well as the gel. This makes my face and neck a little bit more oily than I would have liked. I think this would be a great moisturizer for my face in the winter, but in the summer--the gel would be better. It's very good for your skin if you plan on traveling by plane, because it ensures you don't flake out due to the dry plane air. My skin is soft and smooth when I use this in conjunction with the 3 step system. Love this moisturizer
I have been using this moisturizer on and off for the last 5 or 6 years. I might stray once in awhile but I always seem to come back to it. I have combination skin and at one point last year my skin freaked out on me and I had dry patches on my forehead and chin. I didn't realize that the drugstore moisturizer was drying out my skin until it was too late. I couldn't even wear foundation because it would just sit on the flakes and we all know how unattractive that looks. 1 week of going back to thisoisturizer and my skin was so much better. It's not too pricey given the small amount you need. The bottle will probably last you at least 4 to 5 months. It absorbs into the skin quickly and feels light and fresh. GREAT MOISTURIZER!
I used this moisturizer all throughout High School and just recently started using it again. I think it's a great lotion that truly does moisturize your skin leaves your face feeling completely hydrated and soft. It's a lightweight moisturizer so my skin never feels oily or greasy after I apply this. I use it before I put my make-up on and it works perfectly because it also dries relatively quickly. Hmmm,I Don't Get It
I hear so many great things about this moisturizer and I dont understand what the hype is all about...I feel like it has a very nice consistency but leaves a strange residue on my face and doesn't absorb so well. I didn't see a difference in my skin after using for a week. Though I'm a fan of the brand, somehow this didn't do anything for me. Not for very sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.
I saw my dermatologist recently because I was breaking out at the tender age of 50! She said this product is clogging my pores and advised that I switch to Aveeno. I did and the breakouts stopped. I was sorry, because I thought I was doing something good for my skin. :+(( I will rate the lotion for its feel, effectiveness for moisturizing and price as a 7. Needs an update
Okay, I think this might have been "dramatically" different when it was first introduced into the industry but now it pales in comparison to other facial moisturizers; even more affordable, drugstore brands. It does hydrate well and feels nice on the skin; not sticky or heavy (for my super-dry skin), but lacks the bells and whistles of other brands' spf and anti-oxidant-rich formulations. Not very moisturizing to me

A great product!
I originally received this moisturizing lotion in a gift set at Macy's for buying a certain amount of their products. I tried it and I have to say, I was impressed. I'd been recently experiencing dryness around my lip area and I think after using this moisturizer for a couple weeks it fixed the problem! I was told by other people that the lotion had harmful chemicals and will make your skin breakout, but I've never had problems with it. My skin type can be a little sensitive sometimes too. It's a good product and I trust the brand. I think I’ll buy a full-sized version once my travel sized one finished. It is part a three step system that Clinique has, however, I didn’t use it with the system, I just used the moisturizer alone and it worked very well. Moisture Madness
I really do like this moisturizer best compared to others that I have used. I feel it hydrates on a deeper level. The only complaint I have is that when it is drying, it makes my face a little sticky.
