BEST CURE FOR THIRSTY SKIN

by mandyree77 (3 reviews)
I love puting this moisturizer on my face. It literally feels like my face is drinking a big glass of cold water! And my skin stays smooth and soft all day. Its not at all greasy or sticky. It literally sinks into your skin.10/16/2007

Contrasting Usage For Different Skin Types

May 5, 2008, 4:52 am While the gel version of this is moderately light and very clean in finish, this lotion is more like a cream considering that it can thin out a foundation finish and leave one a bit oily by mid day. I found this formula heavier and thicker so it already made my sensitive skin uncomfortable as it felt suffocated as a thin application was smoothed on. The day few days, I noticed little bumps on my skin surfacing due to irritation so I abruptly stopped using this and decided to bid it farewell. My sister on the other hand had found it a miracle worker to her eczema prone dry skin so it will definitely benefit her more than it did to me and found that the moisture lasted her longer than her current moisturizer. I gave this a fair rating for both our experiences so a six would be adequate with a reminder that blemish prone, sensitive skin should be avoiding this item. May 5, 2008, 4:52 am

December 27, 2007, 7:34 am When I started using this lotion, I had extreme dry skin that was peeling from allegic reactions caused by the previous line of products. This one got to work instantly. Within a week all the dryness had disappeared and skin felt soft. I have to admit, after buying the for the first time, I never had to buy it again because I keep getting it with the seasonal GWP. Only thing is that you have to use the three step system twice every day very religiously to start seeing the effects. I agree with the previous reviewer who mentioned the oily feel it leaves behind, but that disappears after putting the powder/makeup. December 27, 2007, 7:34 am

Very good value for money (very little waste). Also, if you time it right, buy it and get the Clinique bonus for free! Even better value! May 22, 2008, 1:55 pm

No other can compare to this beautifully crafted product. It is great for any type of skin. This does make your skin soft and hydrated after continued use. Also it is just perfect for people who have combination skin since it doesn't make your skin oily or overly dry. In addition it enhances the over all appearance of your skin tone but you still need to put on sunblock over this since it doesn't have any SPF. April 30, 2008, 3:35 pm

I have tried the lotion in the past only to be disappointed by the heavy, greasy feel it left. It never seems to absorb either. The grease just seems to worsen as the day goes on and clog pores. If you have even mildly oily or sensitive skin, I would steer clear of this lotion. February 11, 2008, 11:38 am
