Now that I have read the mfr instructions, this makes more sense to me. I was expecting removal of dead cells, like an exfoliating scrub. Used as a toner is perfect. awesome product
I've been using this for about a month and it is amazing. Sometimes when you exfoliate with scrubs, they leave can leave your skin irritated and a little bit raw, that is not the case here. I love that this spray leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed and it doesn't dry out my skin. The glass packaging is nice and environmentally friendly, the only thing I don't like about it is that you can't open up the container to get to that last little bit that's always leftover. It seems a little bit expensive but I live by the rule that you get what you pay for. I love this exfoliant. Everything from the soft scent, to the gorgeous glass packaging, to Aveda's love for the environment combine to make this product a great product. It's a bit expensive but a little goes a long way, and there's no irritating pieces of gravel or whatever the heck other exfoliants put in their product. It's refreshing and leaves my skin smooth and helps keeps acne and blackheads at bay. It doesn't dry out my skin, and I don't need to rub virtual sand all over my face to get an exfoliating effect. I highly recommend it! Great Product
I have been using this product for 20+ years and I find it clarifys the skin and is like a toner as well. I so enjoy misting it on and the natural scent and ingredients are always part of this terrific company. Every time I went to get a facial at Aveda that facialist recommended this product and I thought she was just trying to up her commission until I finally gave in and bought it. My skin is so much smoother and clearer as a result. Great exfoliator that doesn't destroy my somewhat sensitive skin. I am not a skin care fanatic and am terrible with keeping a good regimine, however, this exfoliant is fantastic and addictive! I have EXTREMELY dry skin (which is ironic being in a humid climate) but this is not overly drying, it just clears away the dead skin or used skin without being too harsh. I also am fair skinned and have sensitive skin, but this does not iritate. I would recommend this to anyone who has dry or sensitive skin. I think it is a bit pricy (as most Aveda products are), but well worth the price! Non-irritating exfoliant/toner
I use this after washing my face in place of a regular toner. It does not sting or make my skin feel tight. I like that it has salicylic acid and lavendar, both good for treating/preventing pimples. My favorite beauty product...

Oh so smooth!
Use this product at night after you cleanse your face. I just apply it with a cotton round. It smells great, and, when I wake up, my skin feels so incredibly smooth. I was a doubter at first - I didn't think it would make that much difference, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This comes in two sizes. I have the larger size and am about halfway through, and it's been almost a year ... so this will last!
