This is my favorite shampoo ever. I can almost always find it on sale so the price I have been paying makes it really affordable to me and I can keep it as a staple. It's not just for people with blonde hair either, anyone with any hair color can use it. The smell is amazing and it really lasts in your hair too, even after you've worked out hard at the gym or out in the yard all day. I usually get my hair highlighted (which always dries it out) and this really keeps my hair protected and moisturized. I do use this shampoo with the dumb blonde conditioner and my hair just looks and feels very healthy. I haven't had any problems with it feeling like straw or anything else. — 9 months, 2 weeks ago

smell it and sell it

you kno, there is probly 5 other shampoos that will do the same thing for your hair as far as the great strengthening protein enriched formula goes, but NONE of them SMELLS this good. it is, by far the best smelling shampoo i use. it even smells great the next time you get in the shower to wash your hair, when it gets wet, or when youre doing something sweaty...ehehe. oh, BTW this is for damaged hair to strengthen it, not for dry hair, or to lighten hair! I have been using this shampoo for awhile off and on now that I have been getting my hair highlighted. It smells unbelievable and really protects color. Some people have reported that their hair feels straw-like after using it which is due to the high content of protein in it. I never use both the dumb blonde shampoo and conditioner to avoid this effect. Using a more emollient conditioner that is less protein-concentrated will help (remember that the protein is actually helping the hair though, not hurting it). If you can get this on sale, go for it. Otherwise there are other products out there that work very well for less money (TreSemme Color Thrive shampoo being one) — 4 years ago

Like the sweet smell

When I used this product, My hair looked and felt amazing! I have very thick curly/course hair. I usualyl use Biolage or Redken for my hair. But neither of the two keep frizzys and flaways down like 'Dumb Blonde' does. Not to mention this product smells great. I used both the shampoo and conditinor. My hair wasn't straw-like at all. I was skeptical when I bought a big bottle of this shampoo at my salon on sale for $5.00. I have dry, dull, bleached, and colored hair that has a terrible texture and lots of split ends. My roots get oily quick and my hair was just a complete mess. The first time I used this shampoo, my hair was smoother, texture was good, and it actually had volume and body. I like the way this product looks and smells. It works really well for my hair. Its more expensive than I typically like to pay for shampoos but when I catch it on sale, I always buy it. I had used this product before and recently came back to it. The conditioner is pretty good but overall my hair still needs love. If I let my hair air-dry my frizzy ends start to poof out. My hair isn't split but does get highlighted. Its a good product but for processed hair in the desert it doesn't hold up. I usually mix aussie 3 minute miracle with the conditioner for better results. — 3 years ago
