Can't stand it

I didn't care for this hair spray it was kind of sticky and wasn't that great a hold. It also has a slight slight fragrance which I didn't like. Not worth the cost to me. — 2 years, 6 months ago

Great hold for fine hair

I adore this hair spray from Aveda. Even though the scent is a bit strong, the control it gives rocks. This is Aveda's "lightest" hold hair spray, but just a few spritzes of this will keep your hair in place all day - wind, rain, hurricane. I had to learn to use a lot less than I would with other brands because if you use too much of this it will weigh hair down, especially fine hair, and you will end up with seriously crunchy hair. Even if you do use too much, this spray is really easy to brush out so you can start over again without having problems restyling like you can with other brands. It also doesn't leave behind those yucky little white flakes of product when you brush your hair out. Hair is still soft at the end of the day, too. No more going to bed feeling like your hair is sticky, stringy, or crispy. It's pricey, but since so little is needed, a bottle easily outlasts many other brands. Since this is Aveda's lightest hold hair spray, I can only wonder how strong their max hold spray is! — 2 years, 3 months ago

Witch hazel smells like warm poop. I guess if you like the smell of warm poop, you would be a happy user of witch hazel. I can't believe how many reviews I've read where people are describing the smell as "not so bad"...Yikes! I almost passed out from the smell. Nice, but too heavy for me

I'm a big fan of natural remedies. and this hairspray just cuts the cake. I love it. I can spritz it on a do and it keeps the shape all day long, or I can spritz my hair before I use a curling iron or straightening iron and my hair forms whatever i'm going for, it's shiny, not weighed down and easy to shampoo out, it also acts as a heat barrier, preventing heat damage to the hair. I HATE using hairspray on my hair, but this one I will always have in my bathroom :) — 3 years, 11 months ago
