Good holding power

This hair spray really keeps style in place without drying or feeling stiff. You can still brush it without disturbing the hold.

Soft hold

this aveda hair spray seems to hold well but becareful not to spray to much it can get a bit sticky. holds for many hours.

Pretty good for hair that doesn not need extreme hold.

Man I like this way better than the Firmata spray. Sure, it doesn't hold as strong but it fits the look I'm pursuing more naturally. It holds hair, but it doesn't make hair look crunchy or too stiff. It smells better than the frankly medicinal scent of Firmata, and it does make my hair look great even in 100 degree Texas summers. I just wish it offered SPF protection for hair like most Paul Mitche...read morell hair sprays. You get a pretty big bottle for the price, so it's pretty affordable for being a salon product. The nozzle doesn't get clogged up either and it lasts the entire day.

really nice.

I like the smell of this hairspray. It holds nicely and doesn't cause my hair to break or split. I would recommend if the ingredients aren't an issue for you.

Not My Cup of Hairspray

I own this, but I rarely use it. I'm not a big fan of hairspray. It does give medium hold, but to me, it looks like you are wearing hairspray. If this is your goal, then it might a good product for you. It does have a lovely clean scent, though.

Works OK, but Don't Like the Pump Style

I am not a huge fan of hair spray in general, but I like Aveda's silver bottle for hair spray better than this version. I do have a travel size of this that I take with me on vacation if I'm trying to add some volume or hold to my hair. I sometimes spray this on my roots and tease my hair, which works well for volume. This product does the job OK, but I don't love it.

sticky

I really love Aveda's hair products for the most part, but this just was really sticky and actually ended up weighing my hairstyle down instead of giving it hold. It actually caused some tangling which was not fun. Hairspray should be barely noticeable and this was way to obvious that I had used it even what I used a small amount.
