Great for color treated hair
I use to have color treated hair before I grew my hair out to natural. This worked well with the color I had. It also protected from the sun and any damage. I would recommend it if price and ingredients aren't an issue. Much needed help for my hair
I love this product because at first, it masks my split ends. With extended use, I do notice that my hair not only looks healthier but actually becomes healthier. Do You Want Healthy Hair? Get Brilliant
I own this. I should use this. I bad! When I do use Aveda Brilliant Damage Control before I start burning my hair with my flat iron, my locks are left in much better health. I seem to go in month cycles. I use it one month, and upon return to my stylist, he compliments me on the health of my hair. If I forget to use it for a month, he will exclaim, "Dahling, who's been snacking on your hair?" The ends of my hair are split like a couple in a marraige gone bad. Ummm, it's ok.....

Use as directed!
I was looking for something to use on blowdryed hair before flat ironing. This is not it - it left my ends really dry. However, when used as directed on damp hair before blowdrying it provides great heat protection anyway and seems to work MUCH better. I absolutely love this product. It detangles, makes my hair shiny, and I believe it makes my color-treated hair last longer. In addition, it protects hair from uv rays as well as heat from styling. Insurance for Hair
I've gone through about two bottles of this stuff. I love the smell and it is very light-weight. You can really spray several sprays and then style as normal and really not tell it's in there other than the smell. It's not like it makes my hair more smooth or straight instantly, it's just I use it for protection against heat styling. It's more like hair insurance.
