Better than Aveda Hang Straight
Aveda Hang Straight did not work at all for my husband's stubborn hair, and when he went back to an Aveda store for something else, he found out that Hang Straight has been discontinued. A sales associate recommended him this Defining Whip, and we liked the demonstration. It helps his front hair to stay straight. It works like wax but without a greasy feeling or a stinky scent. Smooths flyaways
I mostly use this on just a few flyaways, and it works pretty well. flyaways
Great for taming flyaways, and does make my hair look sleek and finished. Like other reviewers said, it is not a long-lasting hold. Easy to use, not too heavy.
I've had a jar of this for over a year and it's barely 1/2 empty. I use it on particularly difficult 'fly away' days to calm down the static. i just cut 7 inches off of my naturally wavy/curly hair and now i blow it straight everyday. With this product my hair stays how i style it all throughout the day. Great for calming fly-aways and adding definition.
I have longer hair and I use this to tame down my fly aways after blow drying. It also helps to make my style look sleeker. It is not sticky at all, and it is possible to comb through. Great for light stying
