Sure it's expensive, but a little goes a long way, making it surprisingly cost-effective. When I wear my wavy hair curly I swirl misbehaving curls around a finger lightly coated with this product to give the curl shape. When I wear my hair straight, I emulsify it between my palms and run it through my hair, concentrating on the ends for a piece-y look that stays put. I wish it was a bit better at controling flyaways so I could use it on my crown when I wear ponytails. Also disappointing was that when I cut my hair into a pixie, it didn't offer the texture I needed. My boyfriend buys this for his hair, but I steal a little from time to time to style my pixie cut. This is a really great product that gives excellent texture for styling without any greasy look. You don't REALLY need very much but if you overuse it, it won't make your hair look dirty or gross.
