Natural looking all day hold without flattening, stickiness or helmet head look.

    SKDavis (2 reviews)
I never paid attention to the "volume" claim of Pure Abundance. I just use it to hold my hair in place without that "cement look" It is not heavy or sticky. It held my hair all day and through the night after getting it salon styled and sprayed(the stylist recommended it and loved it herself)for my daughter's wedding in May. I was also able to touch my hair up with out it flattening out-maybe that's why they tout it as volumizing. My hair style is relatively natural looking, but was styled with added volume for the wedding for a "dressier" and the spray left it looking that way. — 3 years, 9 months ago

    Good Product

I have to disagree with the negative reviews. I have fine, thin hair and this used with the volumizing shampoo add a lot of volume; doesn't leave my hair looking stiff or feeling dirty. — 3 years, 10 months ago

fine thin hair and it's a CLUMP

    ccape8 (5 reviews)
Ever saw the Klumps? that's what happens when you use this hairspray. First off, it shoots out like Windex (one shot stream, not a mist), and then you have to work furiously fast to try and spread that jet spray on as many little hairs as you can, and you fail miserably, and you end up with a KLUMP of wet, sticky, spray hair in just that one spot. No good, Sherman. The Pure Abundance powder is not much better. It's not a powder. It quickly turns sticky. Seriously, it takes less time to just wash and dry your hair again than to try and make it look good using these products. And that stinks b/c I'm usually an Aveda fan. :(* — 3 years, 11 months ago

    It smells great!

I do like this product.....lift and spray lightly and it will keep your hair "fluffed", but it does make it stiff (although it doesn't look stiff. It's hard to brush out, but it washes out okay and I find it lasts all day. — 3 years, 12 months ago

I have fine, thick hair, and I LOVE it

    bxmvmjbj (15 reviews)
I have found this product definitely adds volume to my fine locks. You can't use a ton of it or it will weigh your hair down, but if you use the right amount it not only holds, but adds volume as well. Like all Aveda products, the scent is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend it to others. — 3 years, 12 months ago

    ATTENTION!

    i_luv_hair88 (8 reviews)
Aveda\'s Pure Abundance Volumizing Hair Spray is strictly made for those with fine, thin and limp hair. To thick or texturized hair will make this product not work to its amazing and FULL potential. Aveda does make other hair sprays that work great for thicker hair. They are great for your hair and don\'t have any product build up or alcohol (which damages the ends of hair, causes split ends to occur more often; and EXTREME dryness) like other styling aids do. Not to mention great on the environment with all of their products 97% plant derived. -jac — 4 years, 2 months ago

    disappointing

    LizzieB (15 reviews)
Found this product did not live up to its claim of added volume. I have used the pure abundance line from Aveda and found other products in this line to work better. There is nothing different than a regular hair spray here. — 4 years, 3 months ago
