i love this styling foam! It's pretty light weight and doesn't leave my hair feeling super stiff or sticky. It's a little bit more expensive compared to some other styling products that I've used but I think it's really worth the price, especially because you don't have to use all that much so a bottle it going to last awhile. I noticed that the package says for fine hair on it but my hair is thick and wavy and it works just fine. I love the extra volume and body my hair has when I use this and it really keeps my hair from turning into a big frizzy mess on those humid summer days. — 9 months, 2 weeks ago

I like this light styling foam, I usually combine it with Citreshine serum for extra frizz control. It has good style control and holds style well. No strong fragrance which I like but it is a bit pricey. — 2 years, 6 months ago

Rocks for fine hair

Can't live without this stuff! Just a few pumps and my hair has body like never before. I use this with the volumizing tonic, and have had some of the best hair days ever lately. Other styling products like mousse or gel left my hair flat and feeling really gross. Phomollient leave my hair soft with just a hint of scent. I Have Used This Since, Like, Forever!

I have used this product as long as it has been on the market. An Aveda gal with an Aveda hairstylist, I have tried every product in the line, but this is one that I keep going back to, especially in the summer months. The foam is light and airy, but the results are lots of volume — 4 years ago

I recently discovered this product after my hair stylist used it in my hair, and I loved what it did for me. It makes my hair so much more full and shiny...and it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it turn greasy as so many other styling products do. It has a nice scent, and you don't use much (a couple pumps), so the bottle should last a while. My new favorite hair product!!! — 4 years, 1 month ago

i love how light this is--just a few pumps is more than plenty for my long, fine hair. it's a little sticky, but the scent is phenomenal--i get so many compliments on the fragrance alone. really great for blow-drying and light styling, never leaves hair crunchy. i liked the tip about using with the volumizing tonic--i'll try that, although i wish this would add volume enough on its own. definitely a staple for me no matter what length my hair happens to be at the time. — 2 months, 2 weeks ago

My stylist recommended Phomollient to help give my baby-fine hair a little more volume. It does give some subtle volume at the roots; the results are noticeable but not dramatic. Like all Aveda product, Phomollient smells nice, which is a bonus. And it's relatively inexpensive.
