Love love love
This is a 10 star product, I only deducted one start because it's so much more expensive than I would like it to be. This conditioner really does boost the red tones!! It works great in natural or dyed red hair and will even add red highlights to brown hair (which is how I figured out that my roommate at the time was using my conditioner without asking--I didn't really care except when I asked her about she lied! I could see it in her hair!! Crazy). I also loved how soft and shiny this made my hair and the scent is very nice. Great, light conditioner
Whether or not it is in my head (no pun indended),I swear it gives my black hair a bit of red in addition to shine. I've been using it for years and will continue to purchase. The latest bottle seems to be a little thicker than before, which is an improvement. Great
This conditioner does a great job conditioning hair. I have red hair with some lighter blonde-ish streaks in summer. I use this a couple times a week to darken those streaks (and now also to cover up a few gray hairs that are sprouting up despite that I'm only 28!). I have found that it makes my lighter sections a little too bright red and unnatural looking if I use it too often, but twice a week seems perfect for me. Vibrant!
I have red hair (colored). I apply to dry hair - saturate every strand, and put it in a bun and put a shower cap on then go about my business for a few hours. (as if I were dying hair). I put a wooly cap over if i have to see anyone besides my family. I rinse out in shower and my red is simply gorgeous. don't go red without it!
i can't stay away from red hair... it takes a lot of upkeep, so i don't keep it forever, but i always eventually go back. i wouldn't even consider it, though, without aveda's color conditioner (they have 2 shades of red). it adds that extra bit of color that is so easily lost (red is the hardest color to keep, as the molecules are twice the size of other colors and doesn't adhere as well). keeps red hair vibrant FAR longer. the one drawback is it can get a little messy so watch for stains on skin and know you'll have to clean your shower a little more often. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Awesome
As a natural red head with auburn-ish colored hair, this is my go-to product to boost my red color. One of my biggest pet peaves in the world is when people think my hair is brown, and this does a great job of boosting the red. Gave me something exciting and new!
My natural hair color is a very dark brown/black. Due to sun exposure and relaxing it has a few other colors in there. I tried the black and clove and had to try this one. I have never been a red head, but by using this some of the orangey blond parts of my hair are a nice red and my dark brown has a red sheen to it. Thanks for my exciting look. This is not a great conditioner. Keeps Red Heads Vibrant
I have auburn hair, and especially durning the winter, the color gets a little dull. This conditioner is perfect for perking up your color as much or as little as you like. As a few reviewers have pointed out, this product does add color to your hair, so you have to be careful if you have highlights, and it will stain your shower curtains, etc. However, it does a very nice job of perking up red hair. You do have to watch how often you use it, or you can turn your hair an unnatural looking color. I use it full strength maybe once every 10 days, and mixed with equal parts of normal conditioner maybe every three days. Great for lighter red heads
