    Awakening Shampoo!

February 16, 2008, 6:47 am This haircare pair is definitely a pick me up first thing in the morning. The peppermint scent is quite invigorating, not only to my senses, but to my scalp as well. I was worried about the scent of rosemary as it is not my favorite, but there is not even a hint of the scent in either the shampoo or conditioner. The rosemary is simply added to the formula to help protect hair from the environment. I will admit that I wish the conditioner was a bit more moisturizing as I tend to like thick and heavy conditioners (that do not weigh my hair down, of course). But this conditioner did the job of keeping my hair smooth through the day, so in the end, the job was done. February 16, 2008, 6:47 am

    Not for thick hair!

    by Lysistrata (3 reviews)
One of the best smelling products I have ever used. Works like a charm on thin, fine hair, which my daughters have. It gives body, doesn't weigh down the strands at all. However, I have thick hair and it seems like it doesn't go very far to clean. I need to use a quarter of a bottle on shoulder length hair. I highly recomm... Good for fine/oily hair

But not for dry hair! I always read bad reviews of this shampoo from people with dry hair. Well, it's not meant for dry hair, so don't use it! For my fine, oily hair, this is great. It does sometimes dry it out a bit too much, but a dab of conditioner makes it all better. It also has the unexpected extra benefit of calming ... November 29, 2007, 1:01 pm But not for dry hair! It does sometimes dry it out a bit too much, but a dab of conditioner makes it all better. It also has the unexpected extra benefit of calming my itchy scalp. Love the smell. Would buy it more often if it wasn't so expensive. November 29, 2007, 1:01 pm

Works for the Right type of hair!

    by CielBleu (9 reviews)
This product uses rosemary and mint which are two drying ingredients. It will give lift but only because it dries out the hair. This product is really meant for people with oily hair and scalp. If you have dry hair already, stay away. It does work really well as a detoxifier though. If it's not working for your hair, but yo... October 17, 2007, 6:44 pm Aveda's Rosemary Mint Shampoo stays in pretty steady rotation. I like to try different things, but I generally use a small bottle in between each new thing I try. Rosemary Mint is lovely in the morning - invigorating without being too astringent. The rosemary and mint balance each other well, each refusing to let the other take over. It works well as a clarifying shampoo, but doesn't strip everything out, leaving my hair too dry. October 17, 2007, 6:44 pm

    My favorite shampoo

    by kellster32 (5 reviews)
This is a total quality shampoo. You only need a little so the bottle lasts me forever. I buy the largest bottle and the lowest price I've found it at is $25, but it lasts me at least 4 months that that is using it daily. It has a great scent that stays with me throughout the day. I highly recommend it. May 21, 2008, 11:51 am

It does not justify the price

    by milkyone (321 reviews)
Aveda has great haircare products, and this one has the best scent. However, I cannot say that Rosemary Mint Shampoo is the best quality product. There are other inexpensive shampoo from other inexpensive companies that work as good as this one. May 20, 2008, 10:26 am

    Amazing smell but average performance

    by Jessica8 (128 reviews)
This product smells terrific, but it's just average as a shampoo. It's not very moisturizing and leaves my hair a little tangly. It might work better for men or women with short hair, but I wouldn't use it again. May 19, 2008, 6:50 pm

    a must

    by mysticstar (3 reviews)
I have problems with allergies to hair products-my hair looks great but I am always scratching my head. This product not only makes my hair look GREAT but no scratching is involved. BIG PLUS--wonderful scent! I don't tend to spend alot but this is a must! January 27, 2008, 4:48 am
