Great for very dry/sensitive skin

works well, too basic
having recently been at my moms and not having my regular face cream available i used some of the cetaphil lotion she had in her medicine cabinet. at first it seemed to not sink in, and was cloying, but after a few minutes it was entirely absorbed and my skin was smooth. later the dryness did come back [8+ hours of partying later] and i did peel a bit more than i do when i use other creams, but i didnt break out and i did look decent, much more than if i had used nothing. so im sure if youre not too dry, and dont need a therapeutic regime, this would be a good way to moisturise all over and cut down on clutter. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

This is one time I'm ignoring professional advice
My dermatologist recommended this product, so I bought it. 3 days later I stopped using it. Combined with the Cetaphil cleanser, my skin started breaking out. It wasn't keeping my skin clean enough and felt like it was clogging my pores (which I know it's not supposed to do). Once I went back to Clinique, my skin improved tremendously. great for very dry skin
My skin gets very dry, especially in the winter, I have heard that this lotion works wonders so I tried it and boy does it! I usually am reapplying lotion over and over throughout the day but with this I just use it after I shower and it lasts all day! Is Good At Attracting Moisture To The Skin!

A very very light moisturizer
I would not reccomend this alone to anyone with dry skin. This product may be wonderful for your body though. It just doesn't do the trick for me with the dry skin on my face and especially around my eyes. good clean lotion

Not for face but
So I never liked the cetaphil wash/lotion combo for my face as it broke me out. It is AMAZING for hands and body, though! I got a sample in a subscription-beauty-box and knew it wasn't great for my face but it was the perfect size to stash in my purse. So I tried it on my hands and voila! Tried it on my dry legs and it was super moisturizing with no greasiness! Love this!!!
Talk about magic in a bottle! This lotion is so light weight yet mositurizing it's amazing! It absorbs quickly doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or sticky and doesn't have a strong scent-which is great! Put this on before going to bed at night and in the morning during your shower your skin feels like heaven! A little too basic, a little greasy
This is great for everyday use but it is greasy and it only does its minimal job.
