Great for very dry/sensitive skin

having recently been at my moms and not having my regular face cream available i used some of the cetaphil lotion she had in her medicine cabinet. at first it seemed to not sink in, and was cloying, but after a few minutes it was entirely absorbed and my skin was smooth. later the dryness did come back [8+ hours of partying later] and i did peel a bit more than i do when i use other creams, but i didnt break out and i did look decent, much more than if i had used nothing. so im sure if youre not too dry, and dont need a therapeutic regime, this would be a good way to moisturise all over and cut down on clutter. — 3 years, 1 month ago

great for very dry skin

My skin gets very dry, especially in the winter, I have heard that this lotion works wonders so I tried it and boy does it! I usually am reapplying lotion over and over throughout the day but with this I just use it after I shower and it lasts all day! Great product! — 2 years, 6 months ago

This is one time I'm ignoring professional advice

My dermatologist recommended this product, so I bought it. 3 days later I stopped using it. Combined with the Cetaphil cleanser, my skin started breaking out. It wasn't keeping my skin clean enough and felt like it was clogging my pores (which I know it's not supposed to do). Once I went back to Clinique, my skin improved tremendously. I don't often ignore my dermatologist's advice, but this is one product I won't be using again. — 3 years, 9 months ago

A very very light moisturizer

I would not reccomend this alone to anyone with dry skin. This product may be wonderful for your body though. It just doesn't do the trick for me with the dry skin on my face and especially around my eyes. A little too basic, a little greasy

This is great for everyday use but it is greasy and it only does its minimal job. It would be great for the winter though, since the skin dries out so much during that season, everyday use would be great use for it, but probably not so great during the fall (its probably best to use a different moisturizer), spring or summer. — 2 months, 3 weeks ago

Bottom Line: I am completely and hopelessly in love with this product! Great moisturizer for face and body hands down! Full Review: This lotion is so good for any part of your body that you are wishing to moisturize! I originally got it a few months ago with the facial cleaner, but I never really used it because I was using the yellow Clinique moisturizer, but about a month ago, I found it under my sink, and the Clinique lotion just wasn't doing anything for me anymore, so I started using this. At that point my skin was starting to become very dry. I used this, and my skin greatly improved! It is a great moisturizer for sensitive skin, and it works well all over your body! I really like it! Sometimes it feels a little bit too moisturizing though, but thats not often at all! If your looking to get a reliable moisturizer, this is your stuff! — 2 months, 3 weeks ago

My skin loves and my skin hates it

This stuff doesn't work. It's cheap quality and it doesn't moisturize my skin. I do, however, think it works well as a light body moisturizer. It didn't moisturize my face and it seemed to lack substance; it was thin on my face and seemed to do nothing. It didn't make my skin soft and kept my skin feeling dry. I am going to try cetaphil moisturizing cream in hopes that it will be more effective as a moisturizer. If you want a really great facial moisturizer try philosophy hope in a jar or anything by clinique. This is ineffective and overpriced, yet recommended by dermatologists, which I find odd, because it's anything but moisturizing and gentle. — 4 months, 3 weeks ago
