I like to use this when I have had a stressful day or week. The mask feels really cool when it starts to settle, but after less than 30 seconds, my skin feels like it's being stung by thousands of needles. After the initial stinging, the mask starts to cool my skin. When I take the mask off, my skin looks refreshed and well as "relaxed" as possible. Be forewarned that the mask will bring out all of the impurities in your skin causing you to look like a teenager. Outstanding Results
I did not pay for price for this product, as I am an avid TJ Maxx shopper. I paid about a third of retail, but to be honest, I would spend thirty dollars on this mask. It really pulls out the impurities especially around my nose and chin. Leaves my skin feeling dewy, clean and it is like a mini facial in a bottle. Ahava's Purifying Mud Mask is my go to beauty regime once a week, it purifies the skin and leaves my face feeling soft and clean. Mud...from a sea that is dead?
This purifying mud mask is made from the Dead Sea's mud. It contains energizing minerals to gently draw out impurities. When I received the package containing the Mud mask in the mail, I was highly curious on the smell and color. I mean, come on; Mud in the bottom of the Dead Sea straight from Israel? When I squeezed some out, it was dark in color and smelled like salt. The directions said to apply thoroughly and leave on for ...2 minutes? Seriously? Would that be enough time for it to do anything at all? Apparently, yes. The smell might not be akin to a "Honey Avocado" mask, or some other fruity flavor out there; but this mud mask works wonders.
