Great Masacra From a Mascara Snob

    GenaBaby (1 reviews)
Love this Mascara.. I have very tiny lashes.. When I applied this I was amazed at how my lashes were volumized with 3 coats. Most Mascara's on me smudge and dot my eyelids with splash from the brush. Not this one. It's perfectly dry. Has Never Flaked. I hope this around for a long time to come. — 8 months, 1 week ago

    Just like Lash Injection

    StarrLite (14 reviews)
I work at a cosmetics retail store and decided to try this when I needed mascara and was hard up on cash. Prestige is a decent drugstore quality line, nothing too special, and I wasn't expecting much. I was so surprised by the results! The volume and length I built was amazing. This is so close to Too Faced Lash Injection. So close, in fact, that I simply cannot tell a difference in a side by side comparison. As far as building tubes around lashes, LashMatrix does not do that, nor does it really claim to on the package. (It does say that it's "spiral technology will wrap each lash" which I guess is close enough.) What it has is tiny fibers that adhere to each other and your lashes, building volume and length that way. This requires the drier formula and some savvy application, just like with Lash Injection, which is also very dry. Therefore the shelf life of either is never very long. A lash comb is necessary for both brands (wish it was built onto the packaging...) and you'll get much better results if you apply, comb a bit, apply a second coat, etc. The two mascaras also smell the same to me: a little chemical-y, but that doesn't last. I have applied up to three coats of LashMatrix at once and have had no problem with flaking. I definately recommend removing with eye makeup remover. As far as tube-building mascaras go, there are much better brands out there that are worth paying $20+ for. In my opinion, Lash Injection is not worth the price and, as a professional, I honestly would never purchase it. But at less than $7, LashMatrix is a winner! — 3 years, 1 month ago

    OK For The Price

    Crissy009 (10 reviews)
This is the first I'm hearing of the crazy tube technology this claims to have. Others do, this doesn't seem to. I actually bought this at a dollar store for $2 CAD. It is at certain drugstores for around $7 CAD. But I just bought it because I needed a waterproof mascara, and $2 looked good to me especially after seeing it for $7. Anyway, it worked fine, but after a while, the flaking got annoying. I wouldn't recommend it for bottom lashes for that reason. It did all the things a basic mascara is supposed to do but it doesn't go above and beyond for me. So if you find it at your local dollar store for 2 bucks, get it, if not nevermind. — 3 years, 1 month ago

It was supposed to give you the tubular effect--none ! Yes oh yes it was it was crumbling before my own eyes. I returned it as fast as I bought it. Oh packaging was the most impressive. Very dissappointed overall. — 4 years ago

    Good Mascara but No Tubes

    southernbelle (28 reviews)
I purchased this hoping to get the tube technology I had heard about. After several uses I realized the tubes weren't going to happen. This mascara is nothing like Blinc's Kiss Me mascara which produces perfect little tubes. All that said, I really liked this as a lengthening mascara. It has a nice applicator brush(not too big or too small) and it went on smoothly and easily. It was easy to use as many coats as I desired(I used two to three)for buildable coverage. The mascara lasted all day with no smudging(even after a nap). It had a fantastic lengthening ability and I had my lashes nearly touching my brow. I also liked the fact that I was able to remove it with regular eye make-up remover and didn't have to apply heat, moisture and pressure to remove as I do with Blinc's. I think this product is an excellent value for the money. — 4 years, 3 months ago

    Don't waste your money

    topkat (3 reviews)
This mascara is marketed as the drugstore alternative to Kiss Me and other mascaras that create little tubes around lashes that wash off with warm water. This is untrue. This mascara was dry and goopy when I opened it. It also had a strong fumey odor that was very chemical, faintly like motor oil. It was a nightmare to apply, balling up on the tips of the lashes like old, dried up mascara. It started to crumble within two hours, getting into my eyes. I looked in a mirror and it looked like someone had taken a pepper shaker to my cheeks! I gave it second try, making sure my lashes were completely clean and dry; carefully applying. The results were exactly the same! About 5 or 6 of my friends bought this around the same time last month, and only 1 person got a decent result; the rest got the exact same result as I did. I can honestly say this is the worst mascara I have ever tried! — 4 years, 3 months ago

    Great marketing but...

    primosweet (9 reviews)
Do not get sucked in to the 'amazing results' that the mascara claims to do. After 2 hours on my lashes I started to see black flakes appear on my cheeks. I took it off in 6 hours, to really give this mascara a chance, after my boyfriend asked what that stuff was on my face. Also comes with a strong scent. Not recommended! — 4 years, 3 months ago
