Great thickening mascara, but doesn't stay put...
The brush and formula of this mascara make for really dense-looking, dark lashes. So it gets an A in that department. However, I frequently tear up when I'm struck by allergies and the moisture causes the mascara to smudge. not too bad but not great either
I heard great reviews about this mascara on another site so I figured I had to try it because the mascara that I was previously using wasn't really too good. So I tried this L'oreal in Carbon Black. It is ok.....it makes my lashes a little bit longer but nothing like I thought it would. I put on two coats of it. Really great!
This mascara is really great and really does live up to its claims. My lashes are already long and curly, so I can only use one coat of this or my lashes will look outrageously long. Very good and definitely waterproof. Make sure you have a great eye makeup remover before using this because this can really be hard to wash off. The returning winner
I have used this mascara for years. I have tried others, but this one does what it says. NO bells or whistles. Whenever I try another brand, I always go back to L'Oreal Paris voluminous Mascara. Love it!
I wore this mascara during a trip to Bali, where it was very hot and humid. It lasted through sweating, swimming, and snorkeling. I would recommend this mascara whenever water and humidity is involved. Not great
I have short, fine, blond-tipped lashes (I'm a brunette). I bought this expecting it to bring volume, but it really didn't. At all. It covers nicely with no lumps, but does not make my lashes look any fuller or thicker or longer at all. Great for summer humidity!
I first saw this mascara in the instyle beautybook for most waterproof mascara and decided to buy it! It was not clumpy and defined my lashes beautifully. Gave them volume & thickened them! My favorite
I have used this mascara for years and when I try others, they don't compare to this one. My lashes are long, voluminous, and it doesn't flake. This is for a dramatic look. I want my money back
I bought this after seeing rave reviews on youtube and this website. I wish I didn't buy it. I like to have big long lashes and this "Voluminous" did absolutely nothing for me. I tried putting it on one eye and comparing the bare lash eye to the voluminous eye and I could hardly tell a difference. I've really tried working with it about 3-4 times and I give up I can't see any volume or length. It's really hard to wash off too and sometimes it makes my eyes itch. The only plus is that I haven't had that heavy clump thing where you can look up and see a clump.
