N.Y.C. New York Color Powder Blush Reviews

HATED this
Even for the cheap price, it wasn't worth it. It takes forever to get the right pigmentation and it has some of the most terrible lasting power I've seen. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

powdery.
i didnt like this too much it was very sheer and didnt have much options in colors. i also felt like it was too powdery and chalky to get any good use out of it. — 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Sheer and powdery
This is a great deal esp if you buy it on BOGO sales. It goes on rather sheer, which gives you a hint of color without any streaking. It may be too powdery for dry skin or dark skin tones. It's better for oilier skins with light skin tones. Great bargain if it's right for you. The brush is terrible, so I use my professional blush brush for this. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Nice, sheer blush
This is a nice blush for the price, but fair warning; it is sheer. Some reviewers have commented that there is a lack of pigmentation; I don't necessarily agree with that. I have purchased high end brands that were also sheer. I like this blush especially for the spring and summer, when I want less intensity. I recently purchased this in Wine for the fall, and I'm thinking that it may be too sheer for the cooler months and may not be enough color. All in all, not bad. — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Decent
For the price, it's a decent blush. It doesn't last very long, so if you don't mind reapplying then its a good buy. — 4 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

disappointed
By far the worst NYC product I ever used... I was really hoping for a cute pink cheek looks. I don't like the packaging. The brush is really bad quality. Don't recommend buying it... — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not really worth it.
Although it's inexpensive, I'm not buying it again. It has very little pigmentation, which I don't mind so much because I'm fair skinned. My biggest complaint is that it's too messy. I applied it with a large blush brush and the powder just flew everywhere. I barely got powder on my brush, making it even harder to get the color onto my face. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Different brand please
I bought a blush color similar to another one that i had of a different brand. The color does not even show up on my face. Only a small tint after a pat the whole thing on my face. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

I wish it had more color
I actually liked this product, it lasted all day, and didn't feel heavy, however I wish it had more pigmentation. I got west side wine thinking it would be a good complement to my medium skin tone, however it really didn't stand out a lot on my skin and kinda dirtied my complexion rather than giving it color or a glow. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

love the good quality for a great price
I still prefer buying higher end makeup but dont get me wrong i love these nyc blushes our local dollar store sells them for a dollar sometimes even two for a dollar. who can pass up that bargin? especially when its actually decent makeup. Makeup brands like nyc ,wet and wild, milani, and jane have been stepping their game up the past few years and this is one of those products that goes to show for it you get a beautiful natural blush it might not be a perfect formulation but i dont think you can find much better for the price. Even sitting next to my mac and nars blushes i still use the nyc a few times a week and almost cant resist looking for new colors at the dollar store, and thats their only flaw is theres not alot of color options. — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
