Mederma Skin Care for Scars Reviews

Doesn't Live Up To Promises
powerwoman033 (509 reviews)First of all, Mederma is extremely expensive, (which would be fine if it worked) after putting it old and new scars, the product delivered nothing. Save your money! — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Worth the money??
ModernDayWriter (196 reviews)Saw only slight improvement for a 6 month old burn scar from a curling iron (clumsy!). The amount of improvement isn't really worth the money. The reality is that very few drug store brands are actually effective on scars. You'd have to get a dermatologist to get you a prescription strength scar fading cream to get real results! — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

only for new scars
smiley48 (187 reviews)I didn't see much improvement when I tried this on a few scars. There was some faint change on the newest one I tried it on, but even after using this for a few months it wasn't enough of a change to make me still use. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Doesn't work on old stretch marks or scars
CountryGal (5 reviews)I used this on some of the old strectch marks that I have from having my boys and I seen no improvement! This might work on new scars but it would sure be nice for companies to come aout with an affordable cream for old scars! Thanks. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Fake Mederma
mphschic03 (1 reviews)Well, I bought the Walgreens brand of this type of product and it works fine. I didn't believe it would, and on a old scar, I haven't used it like it says to use it and I still have noticed a difference! If the scar is old, apply more times through-out the day, but this does work. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Not sure about product results.
SashaB (5 reviews)I used this on some surgery scars and I didn't see any improvement at all. I believe that it works, but I also think that a lot has to do with the incision as well as genetics. So I would possibly opt for another product if one's available. — 3 years, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Unpleasant
d88cat (2 reviews)Very unpleasant scent and crumbles off at the slightest touch. I saw absolutely no change in my facial scars. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Allergy!
ForgetMeNotAM (35 reviews)I had to stop using this treatment on my scar because my husband was allergic to it! He would experience angioedema every time I put it on, so I had to stop using it. I found it a little irritating to my skin, but it was tolerable. I didn't see any short term results, and was not able to continue using it for the long term... — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
