Wen
I don't know why I bought this. It does have a nice fragrance, but it is no different than attempting to wash your hair with any other conditioner-- all conditioners contain some detergents, so any will give you the same effect. That being said, this left a sticky film on my hair, even though I rinsed thoroughly. What a waste of money. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner
The Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner is a revolutionary step toward achieving beautiful, healthy, shiny hair. WEN cleansing conditioner replaces shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, leave-in conditioner, and even shaving cream. This formula is formulated for all hair types, the cucumber aloe cleansing conditioner is exceptional for fine to medium hair. WEN cleansing conditioner is detergent free, yet gently cleanses and moisturizes. Cucumber Aloe's astringent and antioxidant properties make it IDEAL FOR OILY SCALPS WITH DRY HAIR. Cleansing Conditioner should be applied in four sections: crown, nape, ends on the right, and ends on the left. For hair above your ears, use a minimum of eight pumps (two pumps per section). For hair above your shoulders, use a minimum of 12 pumps (three pumps per section). For hair down to your shoulders, use a minimum of 16 pumps (four pumps per section). For hair past your shoulders, use a minimum of 20 pumps (five pumps per section). For hair to your mid-back, use a minimum of 24 pumps (six pumps per section). For thicker/coarser hair, increase amount of pumps in order to thoroughly cleanse the scalp and hydrate ends. Add a quick repeat and rinse to get rid of any buildup and for better manageability. You can mix formulas to find the perfect combination for you! Please give this more than one chance. There can be a learning curve for this, but it is more than worth it. Your hair will be so happy! I have not used anything other than the Wen products in my hair for over 2 years and I always receive compliments from stylists for having the most healthy they have seen. This works great on your dogs too! It won't dry their skin out, and it leaves their coats amazingly shiny and healthy! — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Review subject
Great product, made my hair soft and tangle free. Although the "no lather" kind of was interesting as a concept since it was a new thing for me. It takes a long time to apply, etc. And I was shocked at how much product I had to apply (per directions) to my long hair. It was like I was doing a workout, with all the pumps I had to do. It won't last me very long, seeing as I had to use almost 30 pumps!!! I'm unsure as to if I will be buying this product again, but it's a good product. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Use as a Conditioner...
My two reactions after using this product were 1/ My hair looks better than it has in a long time, and 2/ There is no way that the product amount, 12 oz, will last a month if used as directed. Tough choice, so instead I use less harsh shampoo for color treated hair. Then I take about six pumps, instead of fourty, and use it just like a regular conditioner. I use one pump as a leave in conditioner. My hair looks just the same using it as only a conditioner, as it did using it as a cleansing conditioner. Wen was created back when shampoo like Prell would strip all the oils from the hair. Nowadays there are shampoos that are designed to be gentle and color preserving. This way you can have the best of both worlds. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

unlike anything else!
I don’t see myself passing on a yummy smelling bottle of shampoo in lieu of concocting my own baking soda and vinegar rinse anytime soon, so I took Chaz at his word and trusted the Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner for the job! WEN is TOTALLY different than anything you’d expect, at least it was for me– a habitual shampoo offender. Check your pre-conceived shampoo notions at the door, WEN doesn’t lather or suds at all and will take some getting used to! You may even think there is no way that the thick and creamy concoction is even touching the oils that have taken over your scalp. You’ll also use much more of this product than what we consider normal, so don’t be alarmed– it takes about 30 pumps to ensure the product is evenly distributed for my hair texture and length. The process is more involved and time consuming than just lathering some shampoo in my hair and rinsing it out, and the longer you leave WEN on the better it works. Keeping these things in mind, I was really impressed with how light my hair actually felt– it was almost bouncy. I can’t forget about the shine! The Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner left behind a shimmering shine on my black hair that I ordinarily can’t achieve with traditional shampoos and conditioners alone. And the fragrance? Heavenly! I know this may sound impossible, but the Cucumber Aloe is both soothing and invigorating at the same time. I don’t get to say that very often! For something that conditions so much, it cleanses incredibly well and builds volume at the same time. It’s definitely not your everyday shampoo! If you just don’t think you’ll ever be able to kick your sudsy habit and you’re hooked on it, this honestly may not be for you and it could end up being a “washâ€. If you’re on the product-adventurous side and want to explore other shampoo options, or have hair that screams for lots of TLC– give WEN a shot. While it’s not a permanent shampoo solution for me since I’m perpetually testing new products, I do enjoy the change and so does my hair! — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 7 people said helpful

Wen
I received a large sample from the company in mail but I truly was not that impressed. I have long hair so it took all of the large sample. it wasn't the fact that you have no suds but that was different it was just my hair looked oily after it was dry and yes I rinsed well. I can't say I will buy but if I would receive a sample ever again I would give it another try. I have seen so many commercials about this I was so excited to try yet to be so disappointed. — 1 week, 4 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner
I've been using WEN products for years and wouldn't consider using anything else! My last purchase, by accident, was the Cucumber Aloe Clensing Conditioner. I'd been using the Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner and have always loved it. However, imagine my surprise when I used the Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner and I actually love it even more! I have shoulder-length, thick curly hair and I use 11 to 12 pumps. After a thorough rinsing, I towel dry my hair and add a full pump all over and it manages my curls beautifully! I spent years looking for a product that would control my curly, frizzy hair that I wasn't allergic to. WEN Cumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner is it! I won't use anything else!!! — 5 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Love it, hate the price
This product is amazing. I love how it makes my hair feel. After the first use, there was such a difference. I love the thickness, shine, and feeling after I use it. Even if I let it air dry, it looks good. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because the THE PRICE! I can't keep spending over 28$ for a small bottle that doesnt last super long (I have thick hair). Also, the amount of product needed for my hair, I go through it like crazy. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
