Makeup Forever Eye Shadow
I just discovered this line exclusive to Sephora, and I cannot believe these eye shadows. They are extremely saturated, more so than Urban Decay, which I used to think were the best. These have a good price point, and the makeup artist at Sephora showed me how to use 3 beautiful shadows to create a dramatic eye. Good
I have the bright fuchsia and I love the pigmentation of this. It does last all day. The biggest beef I have with this that even after wearing a primer, it happens to stain my eyelids for a few hours after thoroughly removing my makeup. Also, it's EXTREMELY expensive at $19 a pop. Good eyeshadow. I don't usually use this brand, but I got it as a gift. I got a set of 2. i'm not sure how much they cost, so I'm not able to factor any of that in to the review. The color had rich pigmentation, and it lasted all day (which is rare for me). I didn't have to deal with creasing either. Best Eyeshadows!
If you want color, get MUFE eyeshadows! They come in tons of different colors, the size of each shadow is HUGE, long lasting, and they blend easily. Best used over a primer but not necessary if you want just a wash of color since they are so highly pigmented. They glide on so smoothly and they dont clump in certain spots like some eyeshadows do. It's Ok..
Nice selection of colors but i have found way better for less money, such as MAC, Loreal, Loreal HIP, all have outstanding colors and are priced better, The formula is good and stays in place. Love the selection
Everyone perceives color differently and to different degrees. There is even an online test to see how well you differentiate between shades of color. Try it! Do a search for x-rite. I find that I am very particular in finding just the right shade of color in eyeshadows, lipsticks etc. MUFE has colors that I haven't been able to find elsewhere. I especially love my pale matte yellow and pale matte green. Both look good with my eye color. I've found these pale colors in drugstores, but you might as well throw your money in the trash by buying those. They will be invisible. MUFE is great for light colors. Many reviewers compare these shadows to MAC. I haven't tried MAC, but plan to. Maybe they will be just as good... BUY THIS PRODUCT
Make up forever is my favorite brand of makeup by far. Not only do these shadows have the most pigmentation I've ever experienced, but they stay put until you want to take them off. Extremely easy to blend, the variety of colors make it easy to create any eyeshadow look you can think of. Are they expensive? Yes. BUT you're given a LOT of eyeshadow (esp considering you only need a little bit even for the brightest looks). My absolute favorite eyeshadow is purple 92, I've had it 8 years and still have 1/3 left. Considering this is the eyeshadow I use most often, you can imagine how long an eyeshadow that you don't use several times a week can go. Great eyeshadow
I have this one in a lovely purple shade that compliments my brown eyes very nicely, it has great staying power (with or without primer) and blends really well.
