    I'm Addicted

When I firs got this, I was younger and didn't really have a problem with oily skin... but now I do. That's one reason why I love this stuff because it lasts even throught that. I just use a blotting sheet mid day and it lasts and looks great for over 8 hours. I've my same container powder from 8th grade and it lasted all the way to early on in my sophmore year. When I ran out, I scrambled to find...read more my shade again (which the store quit carrying). I have to admit that it's kind of hard to determine which shade will work since some of them look lighter or darker in the packaging then they really are. Also, the brush is too small, coarse, and compact. I ended up buying a big poofy powder brush separately. All in all, this product is more than worth the price. *one thing worth mentioning is that it is both Talc & Bismuth Oxychloride FREE!

Not the best for oily skin

I agree with the other users that it doesn't wear well throughout the day. I have a pretty oily t-zone, and the powder was just sitting on top of the oil about 2 hours after applying. So, if you have oily skin, this probably isn't the product for you.

Not as good as I'd hoped

I bought this in lieu of getting the commercialize brand that I had previously used but found it a little less friendly. The pot that it is in is difficult to get the powder in just the right amount on the brush, the brush is tiny and stiff, and the color selection isn't as good as I'd like because I started with one color and moved to a darker shade but now this shade looks too yellow...it's hard to figure out.

    Eh, not that amazing.

One, it did not cover too well. Two, their lightest shade looked orange on me. Three, it made me break out. Four, it was very messy. Five, it was low quality in general. I think this line has made better foundations than this.

    Great but lose the brush!

Like several other reviewers, I tried this foundation as a cheaper alternative to my beloved Bare Escentals. I was pleasantly suprised to find that it works almost as well and the shade selection is great. My only complaint is with the brush; it is too harsh and has a faint latex smell.

I hoped for so much more

In my past few trips to the drugstore I had been itching to pick this item up. As you all know I am probably the only beauty blogger that HASN'T jumped on the mineral makeup bandwagon just yet. I just have such mixed feelings about it, it's almost like something I am so curious about but I am too much of a punk to try it out. I just for some reason love my regular foundations and their full covera...read morege, and I don't really feel the need to switch. And plus the whole mixing thing and adjusting colors and making a big mess; just does not fit into my busy schedule. But, heck why not give it a try and go on a quest for something that will make me happy, right?! Well while doing research on mineral makeup and reading experiences from my fellow beauty bloggers and editors it seems like a big culprit associated with a bad reaction is the mineral Talc. Don't know why, but a lot of other people have developed reactions to mineral makeup which include talc. One of the most common reactions associated with it appears to be itchyness and sometimes even swelling, and I really need to stay away from that because I suffer from bad allergies as is; soooo when I spotted this in the drugstore and its "talc-free" label it instantly caught my eye! So yesterday I finally gave in to temptation and purchased the mineral loose powder in Sand Beige. When I got home I opened the box it came in and opened it it and began playing with the application brush. As for the brush goes, it is small but the bristles (which are made of synthetic hairs) are very rough, almost too rough for me to use on my face. Also, I did not find that it grabbed the powder well either. I just couldn't see myself using this brush at all and don't see how could it give an even application. So I tossed the brush off to the side and decided I would use my own brush for the review. The powder does come with a sifter which I removed to get a closer look at the powder itself. I can say that the powder is very finely milled but when I applied it, the coverage was insanely sheer. Once again, this was beginning to turn into another experience similar to the one with the MAC Mineralize Loose foundation which was also very sheer. But I did not give up, so I kept buffing and kept applying, but still no coverage! I couldn't even tell I had any makeup on! And it felt very odd on my face. It didn't really feel like actual makeup, instead it felt like...I don't know it just felt weird!!! So, once again I was let down, and this did not meet my expectations at all. It may work for some people, but I personally don't like it. I think that the brush is harsh, the size of the powder itself is too big to put into a small purse, and there was no coverage. I need my coverage!!! Sorry Physician's Formula, but you didn't strike any type of gold with this one. PROS: Talc-Free Formula CONS: Messy Mowing the grass. No coverage Bad Brush Rating Price: $10-11 @ drugstores Quality: 1 out of 5 Selection: 2 out of 5 Packaging: 1 out of 5 Desired Result: 1 out of 5 Overall Rating: 1 SMOOCH Would I buy this again?: Nope

I was not too happy with this powder at all

I used this powder to get by until I could order some more mineral powder and I did not like what it did to my skin. It broke out my skin after a while and I had to repetitively add more in the day and it did not soak up that oily shine no matter what I did. Very heavy look to it also on the face. I do not recommend.

    amazing product

I always wanted to try the mineral makeups but the price was stopping me,then I found this I love it, works great. So natural looking, I've added blush and eye shadows to my collection without emptying my wallet.

    I was pretty pleased

When i started off using this product i had a lot of bad breakouts on my cheeks and forehead and chin area..now it's gone down and i've been using it ever since. It doesn't have the best coverage if i don't use concealer with it but I can deal, since my acne is going away. I like this product alot and if I were you with acne looking for an easy way out i would use it since harsh liquid foundations...read more are horrible for your pores that are screaming for help.
