it's alright
I like the way the powder looks after I put it on but it doesn't last long. I absolutely hate the attached brush. It's too stiff. i bought this as part of a set, but I wouldn't buy this separately.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Does not last.

they need to tweak how it disperses
This was the very first mineral finishing veil I ever saw in a drugstore. Props for that! I was blown away by the packaging and still appreciate it. There's a mirror on the cap and a screw on top with a flow through to the the brush so you can carry it with you for touch ups without it getting everywhere. Not as good on the actual product front as the non-drugstore brands, but the price is good and it's a great alternative to gunky pressed powder. The brush is goat hair, which might freak some people, but I'm going to hope that since this is being pushed as an organic line they'd harvest the hair in a humane fashion. I like that I can carry this with me like a compact but I get the effect of a loose powder. poor design
This tube is the worst packaging mistake ever. its a pain to shake it out and into the brush, and too many times, an excessive amoutn of the powder poured out. When you apply it, the attached brush is extremely bristle-y; as in, it practically hurts your face to apply! Im used to using bare minerals, for everythng- brushes and all- and this was a nightmare compared to the ease in which i use bare minerasl and the beautiful consistency of their brushes. Doesn't keep shine away for oily skin
I have classic combination skin, so rely on face powders to keep forehead and nose shine at bay. I thought this finishing powder would do the trick, but it didn't for me. My skin tone varies depending on season between NC30/35/37 and NW25/30, and the "translucent" shade was fine for me. Pros: Very light, doesn't cake or settle into fine lines or flaking skin. Cons: - Brush is too stiff, so use your own powder brush. - Sifter holes are too small to dispense enough product, so don't bother trying to shake it out thru the brush. Untwist the cap to expose the sifter holes and shake lik a salt-pepper shaker directly onto your favorite powder brush or onto a plate where you can control how much product you want to pick up. - Doesn't last. After 3 hours, my face is shiny and I have to reapply. - Not as much coverage as I would like. I like to have a bit more coverage in my finishing powders. If you want a super sheer look, that's fine, although if it doesn't like, my thought is, what's the point? Mineral Matte Finish!
This is a great stress-free product that lives up to it's name. I've worked a way around the packaging, since I don't agree with the powder going through the brush... Just taking off the brush and with the bottom tilted i'll dip the brush in..so much easier and less mess! It does leave a lovely matte finish with no worries about shiny foreheads! Interesting Product...
Overall, I like what the product does for my skin...but I get so annoyed with the packaging and what a mess it makes when I use it! This was actually included in a 3-part Physician's Formula package that I bought, so I can't complain about the price, but I wish it weren't so messy. It makes me reluctant to buy it again - or at least until they fix the method of application. Great product
If you are looking for a simple foundation without any of the stickiness or heaviness this is just right! I hate foundations that are more of a heavy cover-up and make me feel like my skin can not breathe. this is SUPER light weight and covers beautifully, without making me look like I have make-up on! Physicians Formula Mineral
This veil will mattify your face, at first. Then, as all mineral products have a tendency to do, this will essentially melt into a greasy mess on your face. There really isn't much staying power, nice as the initial effect is.
