  So this product is half good and half bad. The good part about it is that it really does a good job of whitening, and in a reasonable amount of time. The bad part (and I'm not sure if it's just me) is that it hurt my teeth so bad I actually cried. But I had spent the money on them and wanted to finish, so I didn't stop. It ...   The only reason I didn't give these a ten was because they made my teeth a tiny bit sensitive. Other than that, I am in love with these! They make my teeth so white and beautiful! It is definetely worth the 30 minutes it takes to wear them daily. I used them probably 2 months ago and they are just as white as right after I ...   My teeth aren't badly stained, so I don't have much to whiten, but I do desire that bright hollywood smile. The instructions are simply to follow and I found that the strips were relatively easy to apply. Day one, I wore 1 strip in the a.m. and the second one in the p.m. I notice a tiny difference in the whiteness of my... Day two, I continued the application with one in the a.m. When I put the second set of strips on in the evening, I immediately felt some discomfort on my gums and even my teeth felt a little achy. After bearing thirty minutes with the last strip on, I noticed my teeth already looked better than they had. Day three, I could only bare wearing one set of strips. My teeth remained achy for a lack of better discription. Sensitive to hot and cold and even when I was not eating or drinking anything. I finished the product, with most days only using one strip because of the gum and teeth sensitivity I experienced.   Crest Whitestrips is an incredible product. It is virtually the same hydrogen peroxide bleaching solution that dentists use. It's amazing how much whiter they make your teeth after only a few days. I've been using them for a couple of years and decided to try the new "Whitestrips Premium PLUS." This product is exa... April 29, 2008, 11:22 pm Crest Whitestrips is an incredible product. It is virtually the same hydrogen peroxide bleaching solution that dentists use. It's amazing how much whiter they make your teeth after only a few days. I've been using them for a couple of years and decided to try the new "Whitestrips Premium PLUS." This product is exactly the same as the regular Whitestrips Premium, except the box it comes in has a window and it comes with 3 extra days of strips. The regular Whitestrips takes 7 days and this takes 10. After 7 days, your teeth are pretty much as white as they're going to get, and I didn't notice much of a difference from the additional 3 days. The "Plus" in the product's name seems to refer more to the much higher cost of this product. If you're thinking about getting this, just realize that all it is is three more strips, so when you figure out how much you're being charged per strip, you may find you're paying considerably more for these poer strip than the regular Whitestrips Premium. That being said, the strips are a great product and if you get them, make sure you buy some toothpaste for sensitive teeth because this product WILL make your teeth feel like they're on fire.   My dentist thought I had whitening done by Zoom. I smoked for 30 years, drank coffe and tea for just as many years, and my teeth were always yellow, yellow, yellow, and dull. My teeth went from that to "the whitest on the chart" at my dentist's office. I told him that I used the White Strips and that instead of... Three timeas a week at first, and then once a week. Everyone comments on my teeth and how white they are! I do know that a lot of people have some pain from this product but I never have.   Gets the job done!

Even though the product promises that this is normal and will go away, that pain scares me off. However, I was able to get over my initial hesitance and give whitestrips an honest shot. You peel off the strips and place one on the top teeth and one on the bottom. You leave it on for a half hour, twice a day. The strips cover and stick to your teeth fairly well... they do not cover your whole set, but rather just the ones in the front. I had to get used to the feeling of it in my mouth and I admit, I had excessive saliva buildup at first (in other words, drool). If you busy yourself with other things you shouldn't have a problem, though. Then you take them off, rinse your mouth out and voila. I noticed a change within the first few times of using it and by the time I finished out the package, there was a very noticeable change in the whiteness of my teeth. Yes, the pain was there for me and it definitely lasted long after I took the strips out of my mouth. However, it DID go away a bit after I stopped using the product altogether. People with less sensitive teeth may not be bothered by it at all. In my opinion, though, the pain was worth it because there was no long-term negative effect and my teeth are prettier!   Whiter teeth for the price of pain

  Crest whitestrips really do work and make your teeth noticeable whiter, but they burned my teeth and I took them off almost as soon as they started tingling. I would recommend the regular crest whitestrips more, although they arent as effective, they don't hurt at all. November 30, 2007, 8:36 am

  I happen to love Crest Whitestrips. They work wonders for those who don't want to pay an arm and a leg on more complex procedures. They also are the only whitening "strips" you can wear and be able to talk with!! Later in the evenings I usually have to make phone calls and I'm able to whiten them at the same time.... The strips came highly recommended and after using them myself, found they performed great. I switched to using them every other day during the first month and have been using them on a weekly basis for touch up purposes ever since.   I fortunately read reviews prior to use... and brushed with sensitive tooth polish prior to using this product. This helped enormously. For me, the change wasn't that dramatic, but for my husband he definitely has a much whiter smile. I think it depends on how much damage the enamel has to begin with... and how much dental care there has been as well.
