Works great, but I found an even better one
I used to use this ointment to get temporary relief of the itching, skin irritations and insect bites. It really works, but a friend introduced me Aveeno Calamine and Pramoxine Anti-Itch Cream, which is steroid-free and cheaper. Great for eczema sufferers.
I use this for my eczema outbreaks a few times a year. It makes it stop itching, and thus it heals faster than me just continuing to scratch it until it bleeds, then scabs up, then itches again. (Horrible cycle huh?) It doesn't have a smell, and it's not greasy. Awesome product
This is a great product for relieving itchy and irritated skin. I sometimes get a hive that occasionally pop out of nowhere and am pretty sensitive to bug bites, so whenever this happens to me, I turn to my Cortizone. It relieves the itchiness right away and makes the hive or bug bite bump disapear almost right away. It's a super lightweight product that absorbs into the skin and leaves no shine after absorbed, so you can definitely apply it to your face or skin without having it being noticeable. I currently use the Cortizone-10 Cooling Relief Gel version because I prefer the consistency of a gel than a cream. Best eczema fighter
I'm 25 and 2 years ago I started suffering with extremely dry, red flaky patches on my face. I tried everything I could get my hands on from high end products to home remedies and nothing worked. Then finally 3 months ago I bought this magic in a bottle because I had got bitten by ants, I read the instructions and there it was (helps cure eczema) so that night I put it on my face and I kid you not the next morning my face was extremely soft with no redness or patches. I finally got to wear makeup ^_^.. I always have at least one tube of this in the house; being a skin care junkie, I've had more than my fair share of allergic reactions to new products. Using Cortizone 10 on any "upset" areas reduces redness, irritation, and itching immediately and helps my skin get back to normal faster.
